Friends with English –Book2-Unit2-1st period Ⅱ. Analysis of contents This Lesson is talking about colors. The main expression is: “What color is this? ” with its

answering patterns. I’m going to teach Vocabulary and Target. Ⅲ.

Analysis of students

Pupils of Grade 3 are active and curious. They like acting, singing and playing games. Before this lesson, they have grasped some colors words and sentence structures in Grade 1 and Grade 3 , so it’s easy for them to learn this lesson.

Ⅳ. Teaching aims

1. Knowledge objectives:

Can recognize the words and phrases: red, yellow, blue, pink, green, orange, purple, brown, white

Can listen, say and read the sentences: What color is this? It's ...

2. Ability objectives:

Can talk about colors with target language. 3. Moral objectives:

To lead the pupils know that different cultures have different feelings of colors. We should respect different cultures from different countries. V. Key and difficult points

1. Can listen, say and read the new words, phrases and sentences. 2. Talk about colors of different things with target language.

3. Distinguish the meanings of the word "orange ": one refers to fruit, the other refers to color. VI. Teaching aids
