Unit 5 Can You Tell Me the Way to the Supermarket? (period 2)教学设计

一、单元目标：

本单元与学生的日常生活紧密联系，重点谈论关于“问路”的话题，并进一步学习如何使用一些表示方位的介词描述物体所在的位置。本单元的四会词汇主要有：supermarket, beside, behind, between, Children’s Park, take a bus, get off the bus; 本单元的功能结构有三个：1、学习如何向人求助：Excuse me. 以及应答：Yes? 2、询问别人是否需要帮助：Can I help you? 3、问路：Can you tell me the way to .../ How can we get to the ...? 以及应答：Go along the... The ... is beside / behind it. / There is a...between ...and ... / You can... 二、教学目标：

根据新课程标准强调的知识与技能、过程与方法、情感态度与价值观三个角度的有机结合，本节课的教学目标制定如下：

【知识目标】

能听懂、会说、会用句型：Is there a...near here? Can you tell me the way to...? Go along the ... The... is behind it. 就场所的位置进行问答。

【能力目标】

能在日常生活中正确使用礼貌用语，并恰当自如地问路、指路。

【情感目标】

通过活动、游戏使学生产生学习英语的兴趣；让学生敢于、乐于开口，积极参与交流。并让学生在学习的过程中，感受帮助他人的乐

趣。

三、教学重难点：

【重点】

理解问路、指路时所涉及的短语: near here，the way to..., go along the street, on the left, behind it。

【难点】能熟练运用功能句型：Is there a...near here? Can you tell me the way to...? Go along the ... The... is behind it. 进行问路、指路。

四、教学方法：

从学生的兴趣出发，引导学生通过观察、猜测、比较的方法逐步感悟知识，让学生在具体形象的情境、多层次的练习中，不断滚动知识点，分散教学难点，以此达到理解并巩固知识。

五、教学准备：

多媒体课件、单词卡片、教学光盘、场所图片等。

六、教学过程：

Greeting T: Hello, everyone. Nice to meet you.

Ss: Nice to meet you, too.

T: Are you happy today?

Ss: Yes.

T: Great! Let’s be happy together. II. Warming-up

Left, left, right, right; behind, behind, beside, beside, between, between; go, go, go, yeah!

III. Leading-in

T: I’m a little bird. I’m cold. But I can’t find my home. Can you help me?（伴着呼呼的北风，师做哆嗦状）

Ss: Yes.

T: Thank you very much. 除了可怜的小鸟，我们还可以帮助更多需要帮助的人。Now, let’s continue to learn “ Unit5 Can You Tell Me the Way to the Supermarket?”

IV. New presentation

Step1. T: Do you like to eat delicious food?

Ss: Yes.

T:OK. Let’s go to the supermarket. But where is the supermarket? Is there a supermarket near here?

Ss: Yes, there is. 贴“near here”短语卡片，讲解“在这附近”并领读。继续板书“Is there a ... near here?”领读并进行场所图片替换练习。（单个学生）

Step2. 出示幻灯片，组-组，男-女

练习句型：Is there a ... near here?的问答。

Step3. T: There is a supermarket near here. Can you tell me the way to the supermarket? 贴“the way to...”短语卡片，讲解“去……的路”，领读并替换练习。（单个学生）继续板书“Can you tell me the way to the

...?” 领读并讲解，反复读（组-组，男）

Step4.T: Look, it’s here.（出示挂图，圈出supermarket）We can go along the street.

贴“Go along the street.”卡片，讲解“沿着……走”，“沿着这条路走”，师领读，学生反复练习读。

Step5.T: And you can see a hospital on the left.（指着挂图中的医院）

贴“on the left”卡片, 讲解并手势（on the left / right）

Step6.T: Then, the supermarket is behind it.（指着挂图中的医院）

贴“behind it ”卡片, 讲解并手势（behind it / you / me）

V. Practice 1. Listen , read and act

跟读对话录音并分角色扮演（组-组，男-女，注意模仿老人的语气）

击鼓传花，利用功能句型对话
