[教学目标] 知识与技能

1. 能在the piper of Hamelin的故事文本中学习以及运用单词：pipe, piper以及词组：be full of…，give …to…, give sb. sth. 2. 能正确学习理解

“the piper of Hamelin”的故事内容。

过程与方法

1. 通过分角色表演故事the piper of Hamelin, 理解文本内容，并能做到复述文本。

2. 通过对“the piper of Hamelin”续编故事，发散学生英语思维。

情感、态度与价值观

1. 讲诚信是非常重要的。

[教学重点] 1. 学生能在情境中，正确转换句型give sth. to sb. 和give sb. sth. 2. 学生能使用第三人称复数文本内容。

[教学难点] 学生能根据文本内容，合理的并有创意的续编故事。

[教学课时] Period 3 [教学过程] 一、pre-task: 1. Sing a song: the music man 二、While-task: 1. Learn the word: pipe, piper 2. Learn the first part of the story. 1.1 Listen to the first part of the story. 1.2 Answer the question: What happens in Hamelin?

1.4 Answer the question: What can you do to help the people in Hamelin?

(设计说明：在没有听故事内容前，让学生自己说说有什么办法来帮助Hamelin的人们来解决老鼠的问题，拓展学生的发散性思维) 2.1 Listen to the second part of the story and answer the questions. 2.2 Read the dialogue between the piper and the people in Hamelin. 2.3 Learn the phrase: give sb. sth./ give sth. to sb. 2.4 Fill in the blanks and retell the second part of the story.

(设计说明：通过之前的读对话，学生对第二段故事内容已经掌握，那为了锻炼学生的语用能力，让学生用第三人称进行文本复述填空，检测学生语言掌握的扎实程度) 3.1 Listen to the last part of the story and answer the questions 3.2 retell the last past of the story according to the pictures and the sentences.

(教学设计：学生根据给出的句型，结合图片复述文本内容，更可以看出学生对文本掌握的熟练程度) 4. Watch the whole story. 三、post-task 1. read the whole story in roles. 2. Fill in the blanks and read together. 3. Act out the story according to the pictures and key words.

The city of Hamelin is full of mice. A man comes to help the people of Hamelin. He wants one bag of gold. The man plays beautiful music. The mice walk behind the man. They walk away from the city. But the people do not want to give the piper his gold. The man plays beautiful music again. Now all the children of the city walk behind him. The people of Hamelin have to give the piper his gold. The children go back home in the end.
