I. Students analysis(学情分析)

四年级学生已经适应了小学的英语学习生活,大多数学生学习兴趣浓厚,学习习惯较好。他们求知欲强,善于模仿,喜欢听故事、唱儿歌、做游戏、肢体表演等活动形式。通过三年多的英语学习,已经具备了基本的听说能力,能进行材料的朗读与简短的对话与交流,也能进行简单的书面训练。

在1AM4U1和3AM4U2中,学生们已经学习过一些常见的农场动物,如:chick, duck, cow, pig, dog, cat等(含单复数);学习过不少描述动物的形容词(如:strong, tall, yellow, brown, white, fat等)与动词(如:swim, run, jump, fly等);也学习过to be, to have, can 等基础句型以及What do you like? I like... Do you like …? Yes, I do./ No, I don’t. 等表示喜好的句子,这些都是学习本单元内容的基础。

II. Unit analysis(单元分析)

(1)单元教学任务:

通过本单元的学习,学生能了解更多的、可爱的动物名称,如:parrot, tortoise等,注意单复数;能运用一般现在时态第三人称单数的特殊疑问句What does…(do)? ...(does)… 来问答动物的生活习性与食性特点,包括合理运用bone, fish, cat food, dog food等内容(关注可数名词与不可数名词)来描述小动物们的食性喜好,进一步了解动物的不同特点,感受动物的可爱,进一步唤起热爱小动物、保护小动物的情感。此外,学习字母或字母组合-oe, -oa ,-o在单词中的发音,举一反三,尝试语音儿歌。(2)单元教学目标:

知识与技能

1、能准确理解、朗读本单元的核心单词,如:bone, fish, cat food, dog food, parrot, tortoise等,注意区分可数名词和不可数名词,注意名词的单复数;同时,能理解与运用shake, run away, climb onto, jump off等动作来描述动物的活动。

2、能学习和运用一般现在时态第三人称单数的特殊疑问句以及问答,如:What does…(do)? ... (does)…等。

3、能运用一般现在时态的各种人称来描述客观事实。如:A cat eats fish. Dogs eat bones. I like cats. They like fish.等。

4、能在动物主题故事的朗读与演绎中进一步体会动物的特点、进一步感受动物朋友之间的友谊以及不同的习性与自然现象。

5、能初步了解字母或字母组合-oe, -oa ,-o在单词中的读音,有感情地朗读语音儿歌。

文化与情感

通过学习,了解更多的小动物的食性喜好与生活习性,在感受动物的可爱中进一步唤起热爱小动物、保护小动物的情感。

2、能在故事朗读与表演中,尝试运用,学会交流。

III. Period design

第三课时教学设计

教学目标:

1、在较为熟练地运用本单元核心词汇与核心句型的基础上,能在情境中,初步感知、理解和运用shake, fall down, share...with等内容。

2、能在故事情境中尝试运用所学知识表达与交流,表演与分享。

3、进一步感受动物的不同特点、动物的食性与喜好,感受动物间的友谊。

Min: I’m hungry. What do you have, Mog?

Mog: I have a fish. Do you want the fish, Min?

Min: Yes. It smells nice. I like it.

Min and Mog are good friends. Min is very hungry. Mog has a fish. It smells nice.

Scene 2

Mog: Min, l et’s eat it together!

Min: Thank you, Mog. You are so nice.

Mog and Min eat the fish together. They are very happy.

Story 2

Scene 1

Milly: Wow, a big apple on the tree. It’s yummy. I want to eat it. But ….

One day, Milly sees an apple on the tree. She wants to eat it, but the tree is tall. She is sad.

Scene 2

Milly: Hi, Ella. I can’t eat the apple. Can you help me?

Ella: Sure. Let me help you. Shake, shake…

Ella comes. She shakes the tree. The apple falls down. Some leaves fall down too.

Scene 3

Milly: Thank you, Ella. I can eat the apple now. I like eating apples. Yummy! Yummy!

Ella: I can eat the leaves. Yummy! Yummy!

Milly eats the apple. She likes it. Ella eats the leaves. They are very happy.

教学目标:

1、在较为熟练地运用本单元核心词汇与核心句型的基础上,能在故事语境中感知、理解与运用basket, wake up, climb onto, jump off, run away等内容。

2、在语境中,通过图景与语段理解、朗读故事内容,体会猫Tom和老鼠Jerry的一系列情感变化,有感情地朗读故事、体验角色。

3、通过故事学习,进一步感受动物的不同特点、不同的习性与自然现象,体会故事阅读所带来的乐趣。

Materials:

Tom: Hi, I’m Tom. I like eating. So nice! I like sleeping. So warm!

Jerry: Hello, I’m Jerry. I’m small but strong. I like running, jumping and climbing. Scene 1

One day, Tom is sleeping in his basket. Jerry sees the cat food.

Jerry: Wow, yummy cat food! I’m hungry.

Jerry is hungry, so he eats the food.

Scene 2

Tom wakes up and sees Jerry. He is angry.

Tom: Bad mouse! It’s my food. Miao, miao!

Jerry: Oh…. Help! Help!

Jerry is afraid. He runs away.

Scene 3

Jerry climbs onto the door.

Tom: Bad mouse, come down!

Jerry: Oh, you’re too fat. You can’t climb onto the door. Ha-Ha-. Tom cannot catch him because he is too fat. He is angry.

Scene 4

Jerry jumps off the door and runs away again.

Jerry: I can run very fast. You can’t catch me.

Tom: Ouch, I can’t run fast.

Tom is tired. He cannot catch the mouse.

Scene 5
