一、教学目标与要求（Teaching aims and request）

1. 能听、说、读、写，并运用单词sunny, rainy, snowy, windy, cloudy. 2. 能听懂、会说Listen and say中的对话，并能够与同桌合作表演出对话内容。

3. 掌握一般疑问句Is it sunny today?及其回答Yes, it is./No. It’s rainy.

4. 培养学生关心天气、热爱生活的好习惯。

5. 通过各种形式的英语学习，让学生持续保持学习英语的兴趣。

二、教学重点、难点(Teaching points and difficulties) （一）重点（Points）

1. 能听懂，会说并会写单词sunny, rainy, snowy, windy, cloudy。

2. 熟练句型Is it sunny day?及其回答Yes, it is./No, it’s rainy.

（二）难点

(Difficulties)

1. sunny, rainy, snowy, windy, cloudy这些单词都是由名词加y或者ny派生而来，要跟学生强调写法和规律，避免写错。

2. 一般疑问句Is it sunny today?及其回答No. It’s rainy.注意一般疑问句与陈述句It’s sunny today.的区别，不要混淆。

四、教学建议

(Teaching suggestions) Step 1: Warm-up 1.Sing an English song 师生共同说唱Rain, Rain, Go Away的歌曲，对以前所学过的有关天气的形容词形容词进行复习，为下一步的学习打下基础。

2.Free talk 师生自由交谈引出本课句型。

Step 2：Presentation 1. T：Yes, I see the hot sun. It’s sunny today. 教授sunny.引出句型Is it sunny today? 引出本课课题Today we’ll learn the new unit, Unit 10 Is it sunny today?并板书。

T：Is it sunny today?引导学生回答Yes, it is.并板书。

2.T: Oh, there are so many clouds.出示课件。

T: Is it sunny today? 引导学生回答No, it’s cloudy.并板书。

3.T: Listen careful! What do you hear?出示课件。

Ss: I hear the wind. T: Is it sunny today? Ss: No, it’s windy.并板书。

4.T: Guess! What will happen? Listen! The rain. Is it sunny today?

Ss: No, it’s rainy.并板书。

T: Oh, that’s too bad. I can’t play football.教授句型That’s too bad.

T: It doesn’t matter. I can watch football games on TV.教授It doesn’t matter.

5.猜谜的形式出示snow, 引出snowy, 并在句型中操练。

Step 3: Practice

活动1:Let’s practice with the weather. 活动2: 猜图片上的天气。教师把有关天气的图片背对着学生，让学生提问:Is it ... today (sunny, rainy, snowy, windy, cloudy)? 如果猜的单词与图片相符，就可以把图片送给学生，表示鼓励。

Step 4: Consolidation

1. 看书，跟录音朗读Listen and say部分课文，并以小组合作的形式进行课本剧表演。

2. 尝试用所学句型创编新对话。
