学情分析: 四(1)班共有39位学生，大多数的学生都乐于参与英语学习活动，对英语有较高的学习兴趣。通过近四年的学习积累，学生已掌握了一定的词汇量和语言技能，具有良好的学习习惯和学习态度。学生的课堂学习积极性较高，口语表达能力正在逐步提高，但要求学生能够大胆、自信、流利地用英语进行交流和表达，这方面还需加强和提高。

单元教学任务分析：

牛津英语4BModule2Unit2的学习主题是Cute animals，要求学生了解更多的、可爱的动物的名称，能运用特殊疑问句What does…(do)? ...(does)… 来问答动物的生活习性，尤其关注小动物们的饮食特点，尤其能用bone, fish, cat food, dog food等内容来描述小动物们的饮食喜好，积累必须的生活经验。同时，通过问答训练，提高学生对事物的感知能力，唤起他们热爱小动物、保护小动物的情感。通过Say and act《animal friends》以及Read a story《The cat and the mouse》，让学生进一步了解了可爱动物之间的故事，并提升到动物之间可以做朋友，人与动物也是朋友。

Materials: Tortoise: I have a tortoise. It’s small and green. It has a small head and a short tail. It has a hard shell too. It eats rice, meat and small fish. It can swim and walk slowly. I like to play with it. It’s so cute.

Parrot: Parrots are beautiful birds. They eat corn and bird food every day, and they like sunflower seeds very much. Many people like parrots, because they can ‘talk’. Do you know why parrots can ‘talk’? Because they have big and thick tongues(舌头). And they are very clever. With a lot of training(训练), parrots can imitate (模仿) human(人类) words and have a short talk with humans. How super they are!
