学生情况分析：

本单元的教学活动是2B Module2 Unit3 Animals I like，本课的教学对象是我校小学二年级的学生，学生已经适当掌握一些zoo animal 的单词，如：tiger, elephant, panda, snake等等。同时学生对于名词的复数形式也有初步的接触。对于句型They are已经开始接触。因此本课时主要适当增加学生对于动物描述的具体性词汇，以及运用句型完整的介绍某一种动物。大部分的学生对英语学习有着较浓厚的学习兴趣。根据低年级学生的课堂规律，课堂教学中始终穿插着自然拼读，既培养了英语学习能力，又增添了学习的兴趣。

一、教学目标：

（一）语言知识与技能：

通过让学生猜图片中的动物引出长颈鹿，并通过两人小组讨论，询问有关长颈鹿的相关特征了解长颈鹿。并在最后让学生自己编唱chant增添了课堂趣味性。
