教学目标

1.

语言能力目标：

（1）能听懂、会说、会读snail, train driver, mailman, sailor, tail, wait六个单词。

（2）能理解整个故事的情节，并体会故事主角在故事中的情绪变化。

（3）能知道ai的发音，并能拼读rain, pail, nail新单词。

（4）能通过整个故事的内容学习，猜测出故事名。

学习能力目标：

（1）运用phonic的方式，学会新单词的拼读。

（2）通过歌唱的呤唱，切身体验故事主角的情绪与情感。

（3）培养学生通过观察图片理解词义的学习方法。

（4）通过有感情地阅读绘本，促进理解，提升学生的语感。

（5）培养学生持续学习英语的动力和热情。

思维品质目标

针对绘本故事的内容，适时地进行思维留白，采用教师追问、学生扮演等方式，启发学生的联想、想象和探究的愿望，激发学生用英语进行交流和表达。

学科育德，让学生们体会蜗牛的坚持和勇往直前的品质，学习在追梦的路途中不怕挫折，永远保持乐观精神。

教学重难点

1.

ai跟字母l和n搭配发音对学生来说较难发准。

绘本故事中句子的认读。

教学步骤

一.

Warming-up Greeting: Hello everyone! Welcome to the English class.

Look! This is a pail and nail. Let’s see how many snails will you get. Are you ready?

What day is today?

How are you?

Today we are going to read a story about animals.

二.

Presentation 1.

Riddle. T: What is it?

S: It’s a snail. 2.

Picture of cover. T: Let’s read the story about snails. What do you see?

Ss: I see ... (Look at the scarf and mouth, is she a woman? Introduce Mr. Snail and Mrs. Snail.) (teach “sailor”)

Picture of snail walking. T:Two snails want to take a boat. Where are they going? China?

Ss: Two snails are going to ...

T: Look here, this is bullfight. We can watch it in Spain. (teach “Spain”)

4.

Video of Spain. T: Do you know Spain? Let’s see. (after video)Do you want to go to Spain?

Let’s go with two snails. How are they?

Ss: Happy. (Sing together “If you’re happy, happy, happy, clap your hands”) 5.

S: Train.

T: Who is he?

S: He is a train driver.

(teach “train”, “driver”)

T: Two snails walk to the train station, and they want to go to Spain by train. But, (play the recording) “Wait! Wait!” Does train driver wait?

Ss: No. The train driver doesn’t wait.

Ss: Sad.

T: Then they walk and walk. 6.

T: He sends a mail, so he is a mailman.

Conclusion ai says /ei/, ask students to try to read words “rain”, “pail” and “nail”. And review the words about ai on the blackboard. T: Do you like snails? Why? Ss: Yes/No. Because they don’t be afraid of difficulties./Because they help each other./...

Homework 1.

Read the story at least 5 times. 2.

教学反思

1.

奖励机制的pail和nail应该分开区域放更能体现两个单词的意义。

2.

由于本课目标重点在于语音教学，最后的复述可省略。
