学情分析：

六年级的学生已经具备了一定的英语基础，通过小学阶段的英语学习，已经具备了一定词汇量和简单的语言交际能力，本课所涉及到的内容为用将来时态描述天气，对于六年级的学生来说不是很难，只要学生能突破本课的难点，用不同的结构来描述将来的天气即可。

教材分析：

本课内容为外研社新标准小学英语（三起）六年级下册第二模块第二单元《It will snow in Harbin.》。在四年级的英语学习中，已经涉及到描述将来天气的相关词汇和句型，本课是对这一内容的重新整合与复习巩固，帮助学生对知识进行梳理，因此，本课在教材的安排中起到了承接的作用。

教学目标：

1.语言知识目标：学生学会用将来时态描述天气。

2.语言技能目标：学生能熟练运用It will （）和It will be ( )句型来描述将来的天气。

3.情感态度目标：学生学会与他人交流合作，提高团结协作的能力。

教学重点：

To describe the weather in future. 教学难点：

区分It will ( ) 和It will be ( ),同时能用be going to 结构进行替换。

教学流程：

Step1:Greetings and warming-up. T:Good afternoon, boys and girls. Let’s do a chant together. T: Your head, head, head. Ss: Think, think, think. T: Your eyes, eyes, eyes. Ss: Look, look, look. T: Your ears, ears, ears. Ss: Hear, hear, hear. T: Your mouth, mouth, mouth. Ss: Read, read, read. T: Your hands, hands, hands. Ss: Write, write, write. T: Now you are Group A and your are Group B. Group A, are you ready? And Group B, are you ready? Step2:Free talk and review the words about the weather. T: What’s the weather like today? Ss: It’s sunny today. T: Can you say some other words about the weather?

Ss: rain, snow, warm, hot, cool, cold, windy, cloudy, sunny and so on.(Teacher writes down the words on the blackboard at the same time.) T: Can you look at the pictures and say the words? (show different pictures of the weather) Ss: Say the words according to the pictures. T: Can you differ rain and snow from others? Ss: Rain and snow are verbs, and others are adjectives. Step3:Review the sentence structure about the weather. T: Let’s enjoy a chant and find out the sentence structure about the weather. Ss: It will . It will be . T: Who can guess the weather tomorrow? Ss: It will be sunny tomorrow. It will be warm tomorrow. It will rain tomorrow. Step4: Learn the text. T: please open your book and turn to page 11. Let’s learn listen and read. Look at the map of China carefully and tell us the cities in the map.

Ss: Tell others about the cities in the map. Let’s watch the text video for the first time, have a main idea about the text. Ss: watch the text video. T: Let’s watch it again, and try to answer my questions. Q1:What will be the weather like in Beijing? Q2:What will be the weather like in Sanya? Ss: watch the text video again answer the questions. T: Now practice reading the text with your partner and try to be the weather reporter. Ss: Reading the text by themselves. Several students come to the front and to be the weather reporter. T: Give help when they have problems. Step5: Change the sentences.

T: Let’s look at the ppt and change the sentences. It will rain tomorrow. It is going to rain tomorrow. It will be sunny tomorrow. It ( ) sunny tomorrow. Ss: Fill in the blanks.

Practice changing some sentences. Step6: Group work. T: Please take out the paper and choose your favourite cities and write down the weather in groups. Ss: Work in groups. Show the work in the front. Step7:Assessment. T: What have you learnt today? Ss: Talk about their learning in this class. Step8: Homework. T: Show the homework in the ppt. Ss: Read and remember it.
