Story time

二、教学目标：

1. 能听懂、会说、会读、会写单词：coat, dress, trousers, gloves. 2. 能熟练会说、会读:Whose…is this\are these?及答句

It’s\They’re …’s. 3. 理解和运用名词所有格结构

4. 能听懂、能理解、会读并且表演课文。

5. 学会在任何场合请注意衣着的得体和行为的端庄。

五、教学过程：

Before class, let the students enjoy the rhyme “Nice clothes”

Step1

Pre-reading 1. Brain storm

Let the students say some words about “fruit, animals, color and clothes”

2. Teach the new words with the pictures

a dress/coat

trousers/gloves 3. Let the students find out the rules of singular and plural nouns.

4. Games

Say the words and phrases loudly:

“ Dress, dress, try this. Trousers, trousers, try these. So beautiful…

”

（设计意图：通过“头脑风暴”、“单词新授”、“衣物类单词单复数的辨别”和“快速反应”等环节激发了学生的学习兴趣、激活了学生的已有经验。）

Step2

While-reading 1.

Talk about the pictures in the passage. T: Helen is so beautiful. Why is she dressing like this? ( Help the students answer the question: She goes to a party.) T: Yes, she goes to the fancy dress party. ( Show the students what a fancy dress party is.) 2. Let the students watch and answer: What clothes do they choose for the party?

T: Su Yang chooses the trousers for the party. What other clothes do the children choose for the party? Let’s watch the video and answer the question. 3. Let the students listen and choose:

Su Hai’s dress is _______.

A. too long Su Yang’s trousers are ______.

B. too short

T: Su Hai and Su Yang choose the pink dress and the green trousers. Why don’t they choose the blue dress and the brown trousers? Please listen and choose the answer. Su Hai’s dress is _______.

B. too short 4. Let the students think and answer the questions. What’s the difference between “Try this.” and “Try these.”

T: “Try this” and “Try these” are the short forms. You can add one word after these two sentences.

Yes. They are “Try this dress” and “Try these trousers”. So what are the differences?

(Help the students find the differences.)

Su Hai and Su Yang try more clothes( a coat/a basket/some gloves/some shoes). Please give them advices.

5. Let the students read Part 2 and tick the answer. The gloves are Su Yang’s

father’s/mother’s.

The dress is Helen’s sister’s/cousin’s.

6. Let the students read again and underline the questions about the owners of gloves and dress. 7. Let the students practise the sentence patterns by games.

T: When we want to know the owners, how can we ask and answer?

S: Whose … is this/are these? It’s/ They’re…

T: Good. Let’s play a game and find out the owners. （设计意图：通过“阅读短文并回答问题”和“画重点问句”等环节来培养学生细读文章回答问题的能力，通过“找主人的形式”来训练重点句型。）

8. Let the students try to imate the pronoucitation.

T: Why does Helen ask about the gloves? Is she angry or surprised?

S: She’s surprised.

T: Try to read the sentence “They are so big” in a surprised voice. …

Su Yang likes Helen’s dress. So try to praise Helen’s dress “It’s so beautiful”. （设计意图：通过“和学生讨论Su Yang与Helen的态度”的环节，重点激励学生有感情的朗读语句“They are so big. It’s so beautiful”，训练了学生的语音语调。）

9. Let the students listen and repeat after the tape. 10. Let the students act story time out. Step 3

Post-reading 1.

Let the students read a funny story about animals. 2.

Let the students add one more animal to the end of the story. 3.

Tell the students to be modest in dress and behavior on any occasions.

（设计意图：和学生共读绘本“Animals’ Fancy Dress Party”，设置了让学生“缺词填空”并让学生运用想象力“添加新动物”的环节，在轻松的氛围中巩固重点句型“Whose … is this/are these? It’s/They’re …”，发展学生说和写的能力。）
