Teaching aids: PPT、blackboard、picture cards

Important points Ss can use the new words and sentences to talk about the things and their colors in room. Difficult points Ss can understand the difference between “this” and “that”. Target language 1、--What’s that?

Greeting:Good morning, boys and girls.How are you? 2.

Sing a song :Red, yellow ,blue and green 3.

Play a game and review the colors：What color is this? It’s....

Step 2. Presentation.

1.Show a picture of Gogo’s room. Tell Ss that Gogo need their help. Ss should firstly know the things in Gogo’s room, then receive the challenge to be Gogo’s designer.

2.Have Ss think about the things in Gogo’s room. T model the sentence and ask: “

What’s this?”

Have Ss

answer. Show the picture of “door”. Have Ss repeat “door” for three times, and then ask Ss to read the word one by one or by groups. 3.Have Ss follow and read the sentence “Door, door, it’s a door.”

4.Use the same way for other new words “lamp”, “window”, “pillow”, “bed”

and “clock” . 5.Show the sentence “What’s that?” and have Ss repeat for 3 times. Explain the differences between “this” and “that”. 6.Show Ss some examples and have Ss make some new sentences.

Step 3. Practice. 1.

Play a game: up and down. 2.

Listen and number: listen to the tape and number the picture. 3.

Choose and write: choose the words to finish the sentence according to the picture. 4.

According to their points, have Ss finish the design drawings.

5.

Show time:have some Ss to be Gogo and make conversations.

Step 4. Product.

1.Show Ss a picture of Gogo’s room, thanks for Ss’s help.

2.Have students read the words again. Step 5.Homework.

课后反思

在这节词汇课中，有两个词black、white.在第二单元颜色中已提过，因此新词汇剩有六个。这些词汇贴近日常生活，引入比较容易，学生也比较感兴趣。上完这节课后，我觉得有三点需要注意的：1.让学生发准bed 和

clock两个单词

，/ae/ 与/e/要区分，/cl/的音要发准；2.一定要让学生明白this和that的区别，即近和远的区别；3.学生分清楚It’s a white pillow.和The pillow is white.这两个句型的意思，并且学会运用。在第二单元里我也简略地提过，但是大部分学生会混淆，因此在这一单元里需要重点强调和学习。
