Step 1: Greetings
Hello,boys and girls. Is everyone here?
Step 2 : Warming up
1.listen to the music and do the actions.
2.Free talk
1)What’s the weather like today”
2) Do you like rainy days or sunny days? Why?
Step 3: Lead in
1. Look at this picture (from part 1). What can you see?
2. What’s the weather like in the picture?
3. What are the frogs doing? How are they feeling?
4. How are the dogs feeling? Why?
5. Listen and repeat.
6.read and translate.
Step 4: Presentation
1.Look at the picture! Wow! So many people! What are they doing?Can you guess?
2.listen again and find out the new words we have learnt last class.
3. Listen to the first paragraph and answer:
What is Daming doing? Then what happens?
4. Listen to the second paragraph and answer:
When Daming is playing the suona again, what happens?
5. listen to the third paragraph and answer:
What happens when Daming is playing the suona for the third time? 6. Analyze:
1) He is playing the suona, but the phone rings.
2) He is playing the suona again, but the bell rings.
3) He is playing the suona for the third time, but the dog starts to bark very loudly.
Sum up: 现在进行时,but一般现在时
7.Listen and repeat.Find out the sentences with“--ing and but”
