【教学过程】

Step1. Warm up and lead in

1. Free talk T: I’m your new English teacher. Do you want to know about me ? S: Yes. T: Can you ask me some questions ? (using where/what/ how/when/can …) S1: What’s your name ? S2: When do you get up/ go to bed every day ? S3:Where are you from ? S4:What animals/ fruit do you like ?

S5:Can you swim ?

S6: What can you do ?

2. Draw and teach the new words T does some actions to let Ss guess what I can do. ( play basketball, sing..) T draws a tree on the blackboard , then ask : Can you guess what I can do ?

S: You can draw.

T: Great. Yes, I am drawing a tree. (Teach draw , drawing ,tree) T draws some flowers ,a river and a boat on the blackboard (Teach flowers , river, boat)

After teaching the new words, T: Where can you see these things? (At school / In the park ？

) S：In the park

( Teach park ) T : Today we will learn Unit 4 Drawing in the park. (揭题) Step2 Presentation and practice 1.

Try to ask

T : Here is a picture. Can you ask some questions about this picture ? (using who/ what/ How/ How many…)

S1: Who are they ?

S2 ; They are Mike and Tim.

S3: Where are they ?

S4 : They are in the park.

S5 : What can they do in the park ?

S6: They can draw some pictures in the park . T : How do you know ?

S7 : They take some crayons and drawing paper. 2.

Watch and tick Watch the cartoon , then tick what they can see in the park from the pictures . T : What can they see in the park ?

S1 : They can see a tree in the park.

S2 : They can see a river in the park. S3 : They can see some flowers in the park. S4 : They can see a boat in the park. 3.

Read and judge T: There are many beautiful things in the park . Tim also draws some pictures . Can you judge which of the following pictures may be Tim ’s pictures ?

T: Well done. What does Mike say ?

S6 : Is this a boat ? Ss try to read these two sentences: It’s difficult, but I can try. Is this a boat ? ( Pay attention to the emotion) The teacher lets some students draw a tree, some flowers, a river, a boat on the blackboard. If he thinks it’s easy, he can say : It’s easy. If he thinks he can’t draw well, he can say : It’s difficult, but I can try. 4.
