教材

Sam来自英国，在英语国家里，圣诞节是一个非常重要且富有特色的节日。其实学生已经在二分析

年级的时候，学过一篇关于Christmas的文章，而当时介绍Christmas的也正是Sam。相较于二年级的课文，六年级的这篇课文更加强调Christmas对诸多西方国家的重要性，节日的具体日期，Christmas的环境氛围以及人们对这个节日的情感态度。

在之前的学习中，学生们已经陆续接触到了Spring Festival、

National Day、

Chrildren’s Day、

Mother’s Day、

Father’s Day、

Halloween、Easter等中西方节日。在这些节日的学习中，更多地是侧重于节日的活动，对于时间的表达则较为笼统，常表达为：in spring, in October等。因此，本课对于Christmas的具体日期的表达必然会成为教学的一个重点及难点。

学情

本班共47名学生，班级性格整体较为内敛，因此在课堂上比较不善于主动表达。但是在流行分析

英文歌的学习和演唱方面，却有不俗的表现。在流行英文歌曲的熏陶下，本班英语学习状态有了一定的改善。由于学生层次差别较大，我采用了先进带后进的方式，让学有余力的学生对学困生进行课堂辅导和监督。在两人或四人小组活动中，优生基本能够发挥领头作用，学困生的听课状态有明显改善。针对本班学生层次差别较大的实际情况，我将本课的教学目标设定为“Give a speech about Christmas.”而不做过多拓展，以期帮助学生形成具有结构化特点的节日介绍模板，以便在第三课时，可以拓展到更多节日的介绍。
