一、教学内容

(一)语言知识目标

1.词汇。

“三会”掌握词汇:international “四会”掌握词汇:large, neednt=need not, more, more than, bright, pupil, thousand, ours 2.句型。

能理解并说有关形容词比较级than的句型。

(2)

能正确运用关于

neednt的句型。

3.日常用语。

Would you like to do ...?

Yes, Id love to. 4.语法。

理解并能听说形容词的比较级,并能在情景中正确表达。

(二)语言技能目标

1.能对教师给出的情景进行比较。

2.能唱Sing Along的歌曲。

3.能理解课文内容,并能流利朗读课文。

4.能在交际中正确使用本课的单词和句型。

(三)学习策略目标

1.能多回忆旧知识,并滚动运用。

2.能主动与他人合作,共同完成学习任务。

3.能认真观察比较,大胆表达自己的观点。

能通过参与课堂活动,学会主动请教,互相帮助。要爱护课室中的公物,保持课室的清洁及环境卫生。

四、教学策略

1.利用图片、教具、网络资源和实际生活多创设情景。

2.以旧联新,递进滚动知识。

五、教学过程

(一)热身复习

1.教师播放P32的歌,学生跟唱。

2.问学生:Is our school old or new? Do you like our school? Today lets talk about our school and our class. 并引出课题:Our School and Our Class 3. 做数字游戏,比赛谁算得最快,如:

Whats forty and thirteen?

Whats one hundred and fifteen and fify?

... 4. 出示类似教科书P29但没有文字的学校的平面图,学生根据建筑物的外型,给他们贴上标签(art room, swimming pool...)。

5. 复习学生已经懂的单词,如:school gate, playground, swimming pool, toilet, classroom, library...

(二)呈现与操练

1. 出示一个学校的图问学生。

Would you like to visit this school? 引导学生说:Yes, Id love to.

2. 用图片替换。

Would you like to visit this school/classroom/computer room/...? Yes, Id love to.

3. 制作一张自己学校的平面图,让学生当“最佳小导游”活动——让学生做导游,向参观者介绍自己的学校和教室。

引道学生用上下面的句型:

Would you like to visit ...?

Do you like...?

Is our ... new/big/clean/...?

4. 根据上面的句子让学生学习large, bright。(可以对比:large—car, orange; bright—night, right, light)

5. 问学生:How many pupils are there in our school, do you know? There are ... 教pupils 引出千位数字的读法:

然后问学生:How many pupils are there in our school? 6. 教师出示教科书P31两张学校的图先做比较示范。

Yongxian studies at Guangzhou International School. (教:international)

Look at Yongxians new school and his old school. One is large, the other is old. The new one is larger than the old one. In the new school has more trees than the old one. 7. 呈现课文。

方法一

通过课文录音或课文软件让学生听、看课文内容。

提问学生是否理解课文,问题是:

Where does Yongxian study? (He studies at Guangzhou International School.)

Is Yongxian going to move to a new school? (Yes, he is.)

Is Yongxians new school near his home? (Yes, it is.)

How can Yongxian go to his new school. (On foot.)

Is his new school much larger than his old school? (Yes, it is.)

Does the new has more trees? (Yes, it does.)

How many pupils are there in Yongxians school?

方法二

(1)教师出示教科书P29的图,并介绍和问:

This is Guangzhou International School. Is it larger than ours? 学习单词International 和ours。

(2)教师播放“Which is bigger?”

的动画或图片,学生通过看一看,想一想,理解学习形容词比较级的表达法。

3.出示教科书P31,Ex2,的两幅图,带出课题:

Is Yongxians new school larger? 4.教师先做示范,并教more than,然后让学生比一比,说一说P31,Ex2,的两幅图。

Model: The new school has more trees than the old one. The new school is larger than the old one.

5.教师呈现,引导学生比较。

Yongxians new school 6.教师给出情景,学生操练neednt 句型,提醒学生注意动词的形式。

7. 提出下面的练习,让学生听课文录音或看课文软件时思考。

看下面的句子是否与课文的意思一致:

Yongxian is talking about his old school and his new school.

(2)

Yongxians new school is larger than his old school.

(3)

There are 1600 pupils in Yongxians school.

(4)

There are more trees in the old school than the new school.

(5)

There are more pupils in Yongxians school than Tom and Roses. 8. 让学生听课文对话或看课文软件两至三遍, 然后做上述的练习。

(三)巩固与发展

1.带读,让学生能较好地朗读课文。

2.教师让学生找出有关比较的句子,帮助学生总结规律:

Ⅰ.

She is one year older than me. (第一单元的句子)

This classroom is much cleaner than that one.

These books are older than those ones.

Your class is lager than ours.

总结出:A is/areer than B.

Ⅱ.

There are more pupils in our class than in Class A.

There are more desks and chairs in our classroom here than in that room.

There are more trees in the new school than in the old school.

总结出:There are more in ... than in ...

I have more books than he has.

We have more subjects now than before. A has more ...than B. 总结:要爱护课室中的公物,保持课室的清洁及环境卫生。
