学情分析：

1、学习材料分析：

本单元的主题是Cute animals，通过对小动物饮食习性、动物朋友、动物故事的学习，让学生感受小动物的可爱，培养学生热爱小动物的情感。本课是这一单元的第一课时，主要涉及：Look and learn, Look and say以及Do a survey三个模块，以话题Pets为中心对模块进行整合拓展，旨在培养学生热爱动物的同时，懂得付出自己的真心、爱心，真诚的对待自己的宠物。

2、知识基础：学生通过四年来的学习能够熟练掌握多个动物类单词，并对农场动物的饮食习性有一定的了解。能够通过合作运用所学过的句型对动物的习性进行提问，能够运用一般现在时对事物进行表达及描述。

3、经验基础：学生能够运用to be, to do句型对动物进行外貌特征、基本习性描述，能够运用特殊疑问句针对动物特点进行提问及回答。

学习目标：

1、认读单词：pet, parrot, tortoise, bone等，能够正确辨认每种宠物喜欢吃的食物。

2、认读、理解词组：give it food and clean water, clean and brush it, have it do exercises, love it，对自己能为宠物做的事情进行描述、表达。

3、运用、掌握句型What does… eat/like? –It eats/likes…对宠物的饮食习性进行提问回答。

3、能够简单表达自己能为宠物做到的事，培养学生热爱宠物、尊重宠物、珍惜宠物的情感，学会对自己的朋友——宠物付出。

学习重、难点：

用一般现在时第三人称单数对事物进行提问及表达。
