一、课时目标

1.能够在交际活动中熟练运用前三单元的重点语言知识，如turn right ，turn left，go straight等表达问路指路的短语、They are going on foot/by bus.等表示出行方式的语句；

2.能够听懂、理解本课的两篇对话，完成相关听说读写练习；

3.对话交流中使学生养成用英语交流的习惯，培养良好的语音语调和语感。

二、教学重难点

1.学生能够通过看图、识图、推测等方式发展理性思维解决问题的能力；

2.听懂、理解本课的两篇对话，完成相关听说读写练习；

三、教学过程

Step1、Revision 1. 利用图片复习：turn right ，turn left，go straight这三个短语。

2. 学生表演

找两名学生在英语口令下做出turn right ，turn left，go straight的动作。

Step2、Presentation 1. Wu Yifan is going to visit his grandparents. T： Wu Yifan is going to visit his grandparents who have just moved to a new house.And here is a map to find the new house .Can you help him to find his grandparents’ new house? 2. Look and say .教师出示本部分的地图，让学生仔细观察并用英语说出每个箭头的含义。

3. Listen and circle.在初步识图的基础上播放录音，让学生全出听到的正确的路标箭头。再次播放录音，帮助学生核对答案。

4. Look at these pictures and fill in the blanks. 5. Check the answers.找几名学生把句子读一读，及时给予积极的客观的评价。(you are great .with your help ,Wu Yifan find his grandparents’new

house) 6.Listen again and answer.再次播放录音请学生仔细听并回答以下问题：

Are they going by bus or on foot? When are they going? 在学生说出正确的答案后，让学生进行pairwork。

Step3、Meeting a boy 1.Took at the pictures on page 33,what is happening?(T helps Ss answer:They see a little boy crying on the street ). 2.T:What will they do ?(T helps Ss answer:They can help him.) 3)Listen and tick or cross. 4)Check the answers.X√√

5)Practice.呈现听力材料，学生三人一组进行表演师生共同评价选出表演优秀的小组进行表扬。

Step4、At the police station Robin sings a song for the boy. Listen to the song and finish the exercises. Step5、 Meet his mother 1)

Look at the map. Have students answer some questions: Where is his mother? How can she get to the police station? 2)

Students finish the dialogue between the police officer and mother. 3)

Finish the last two parts. Step5、 Homework 1.Sing the song by your heart. 2.Do exercise book. 3.Write a weekend plan.
