一、教材内容及分析

本单元的话题是“天气”,是4年级第4单元教学内容的延续,围绕一年的四个季节展开话题。本单元,在内容上与四年级下册第四单元有相同之处,如描述天气情况的形容词:cool, cold, rainy, windy, snowy, cloudy, sunny等都已经出现过。本单元是对过去的一个提升。因此在学习时,可以以不同的形式反复呈现新知识,从而降低学习难度,唤起他们原有的记忆,去学习新的知识。本课时是一节单词课教学,内容简单,内涵丰富。

本课内容是以PEP五年级下册第二单元My favourite season 第四课时进行设计，本课将复习和巩固前两节所学句型Which season do you like best? 并在此基础上引入五个四会单词和短语，在学会四会单词和短语的基础上学会使用句型What can you do in spring/ summer/ autumn/ winter ?

I can … 进行交流。通过这节课，学生将提高用英语进行交流季节及适宜活动的能力。

二、学习者特征分析 本课时是小学五年级学生的教学内容。五年级学生已经学过两年多的英语,学生已经有一定的英语学习基础。学生已经有“warm, hot, cold, cool”等的词汇以及句型“What’s the weather like (today/ in...)? It’s...”的积累。该年龄阶段的学生具有可塑性强的特点，学生的这一年龄特征使得他们容易接受或改变一些观念，容易培养浓厚的学习兴趣、良好的学习策略和习惯。和成人相比，他们对新鲜事物的接受要快得多，主动得多。因此，他们也能够很快地接受新的教学法和新的学习方法，并逐渐养成习惯，把教师的教转化为他们自己的学。

三、教学目标

（一）语言知识目标

学生能够听、说、认读写本课时的五个主要词组：go on a picnic, plant flowers, pick apples, make a snowman及play in the snow。

（二）语言技能目标

学生能熟练使用句型: What can you do in spring/ summer/ autumn/ winter ? I can ……

进行交流。

（三）情感态度目标

通过学习各个季节适宜的活动，结合自己喜欢的活动，激发起学生热爱大自然，热爱生活的信心。

（四）教学重点

五个单词和词组的听说读写。

（五）教学难点

用

I can …句型说出自己喜欢的某个季节的一些活动。

四、教法选择、学法指导和资源准备

本课时是以一首歌

What’s your favourite season? 进行复习，学生比较积极和配合，根据《英语课标》和本课时教材内容，采用任务型语言教学途径和交流合作的教学途径，将教学目标设计成符合学生生活学习实际的各个环节，尽量使学生在参与任务的过程中学习运用语言，形成语言能力，并使用多媒体辅助教学手段为学生学习营造较好的语言学习环境，提高学生学习语言的积极性。通过任务型的教学途径，发展学生的综合语言运用能力，使语言学习的过程成为学生形成积极的情感态度、主动思维和大胆实践、形成自主学习能力的过程。同时在教学中采用多媒体辅助教学、任务型教学模式，并以循序渐进的方式来进行教学。

教法选择：任务型教学法、交际法、游戏法、整理法等。

学法指导：自主学习与合作学习相结合，读说做相结合，知识学习与技能培养相结合。

教学媒体：电脑、课件

五、教学过程

（一）导入新课: Revision T: Now boys and girls ，before our lesson ,let’s sing a song “what’s your favourite season?” 根据学生的回答板演：spring ,summer ,fall, winter T:教师板演四个季节。

T：Which season do you like best? /

What’s your favourite season?(板演) Le't chant “What’s your favourite season?”, remind the students what they have

learned before；

2. Ask the students “How many seasons are there in a year?” Then ask the students to guess “Which season is it? “according to the characters of each season；

3. Ask the students “Which season do you like best? Then ask “Why?” to lead-in。

（二）短语教学：

Now ,look at the picture ,spring comes ,plants grow and grow ,the flowers are beautiful, the birds are singing .In spring ,we can do many things ,for example, we can go on a picnic. Then show the students how to read the phrase. Then ask the students to read one by one. T：Ok, we also can plants flowers in spring. Guide the students to learn plant flowers. T: Now, boys and girls, look at the other picture, summer comes, the weather becomes sunny and hot, at this time, what can you do ? To show the students the pictures of go swimming and eat ice-cream. T：In the north, many people like winter very much, because it is snowy, what can they do? We also can make a snowman.

T : Can we make a snowman here?(do actions)

T: There is no snow here. We can’t make a snowman. Can we play in the snow? (do actions)

T: Yes. It’s not cold enough for us to play in the snow. We can’t make a snowman. We can’t play in the snow, either.

T: Now, boys and girls, I’ll give the cards to five students, when I read the words, you point to the words quickly. then read it two times. 学生边做动作边说唱。

S:学生边跟读单词边做动作。（个别读，分组读）

T: When is Tree-planting Day? S: It’s on March 12th.T: What do we usually do on that day? S: We usually plant trees.T: That’s right. We should plant trees. S:I can swim. 3, In the north, many people like winter very much, because it is snowy, what can they do ?

学生认读题目中的单词，

小组描述各个季节的特点。

巩固单词、句型。

学生根据刚才回答得自己喜欢的季节，重新分组，参考卡片图描述自己喜欢的季节。

学生两个人一组进行一个描述季节，一个猜出示哪个季节。

巩固单词、操练句型。
