Step1 Warm up 1. Free talk T: What day is it today?

T: Now let’s sing a song “Seasons song”

2. Listen to a song and try to sing. 3. Lead in T: Do you like the song?

S: Yes, I do. T: How many seasons are there in the song?

S: Four. T: What are they? S: They are spring, summer, autumn, winter. Step2 Pre-reading 1. Learn the words: spring, summer, autumn and winter T: Can you spell these words. S1: spring S-P-R-I-N-G

T: Good.(ppt 呈现) S2：summer S-U-M-M-E-R

T: Very well. (ppt 呈现) S3: autumn A-U-T-U-M-N

T: Well done. (ppt 呈现) S4: winter W-I-N-T-E-R T: Very nice. (ppt 呈现) T: Let’s read them together. 2. Talk about the weather T: What’s the weather like in winter?

S: It’s cold.

T: What’s the weather like in autumn? S: cool. (教授新单词) / windy. T: Yes, it’s very cool, and what’s the weather like in summer? S: It’s hot.(ppt呈现天气图片和单词) T: What’s the weather like in spring? S: warm. (教授新单词，如果学生回答不出来，老师可以自己给出答案)/ sunny/ rainy. (ppt只呈现书上的单词，如果学生有补充的单词出来，教师就在黑板上书写) say a rhyme T: Let’s say a little rhyme.

T: Yes, they are swimming. In summer, people usually go swimming.（教授新知识go+doing.,go running, go fishing, go skating）(ppt呈现词组) Group work T: Now let’s have a group work: 看图说单词。教师ppt展示一系列的动作，让学生抢说动作类词组。说对的小组加分。

Step3 While- reading

1. 初步感受课文，欣赏课文之美

T: OK, since you know so many things about four seasons, then let’s enjoy a beautiful poem.(边听边看) T: Is it beautiful? S: Yes, it is. T: Do you want to listen again. S: Yes. 2. 再次熟悉课文，听录音完成练习。

T: Now let’s listen and try to match the pictures. (双屏展示，一屏看视屏，一屏看连线图片) 3. 深入学习课文，注意朗读的语音语调等。

Read story time one by one. Pay attention to the intonation and the pronouciation. Tips: it is= it’s 区别

4. Read the text T: You did a good job, this time please open your books and turn to page 32, read the text by yourselves for one minute T: Have you finished?

S: Yes. T: Now let’s have a group reading. One group choose one season to read, then try to recite, pay attention to the emotion. 小组在背景音乐中朗读课文。

Step4 Post- reading

1. Describe your favourite season. T: Today we have learned something about seasons. Can you guess which season I like best? (边简笔画展示，边说英语，最后说出答案) autumn

T: It is cool and windy. I go boating. I fly kites. I like autumn. T: It’s your turn to describe your favourite seasons, just use some simple lines to describe. Then write down some words beside the picture. Let’s have a competition. 2.Show time Step5 Homework 1. Read and recite story time with emotion. 2. Continue to draw and describe your favourite season. 3. Preview Fun time and Cartoon time.
