一、教学目标

1、能力目标

能正确表达交通灯以及交通规则。

2、知识目标

能够听、说、认读以下短语：Stop at a red light . Wait at a yellow light. Go at a green light。

能够听、说、读、写短语和单词：stop wait traffic lights traffic rules

3、情感、策略、文化等有关目标

1) 情感态度：培养学生自觉的遵守交通规则。

2) 学习态度：注重合作学习与实践活动，培养勤学守纪的学生。积极运用所学的英语在不同的语境和场合中进行表达和交流。

3) 文化目标：让学生了解常见的交通标志。

二、教学重点和难点

重点：掌握四会短语和单词。

难点：书写短语traffic lights , traffic rules 理解动词stop wait的含义。

三、教学过程

1. Warm -up Do the chant "Rain Bow"

2. Greeting Teacher and students make the simple dialogue .

3. Lead-in Teacher says we have learned the transportation,then can you guess what we will learn in this lesson . 4. Presentation A Words

Teacher draws traffic lights in the blackboard, then let students guess what is this . traffic lights

traffic rules red light Stop at a red light. yellow light Wait at a yellow light.

green light Go at a green light.

B Sentence

Lead out the sentence "Every country have the same traffic lights .There are red yellow green. Red means stop ,yellow means wait ,green means go."
