Unit4 I have a new friend. 教材分析: 本单元主要介绍及询问他人的情况，了解和运用询问他人基本情况的表达形式，能听懂、认读、并能够在日常交际中运用核心语言Is he/she...？Yes, he /she is. No, he/she isn’t.能听、说、读、写并能在情境中运用young、old、beautiful、thin、clever. 学情分析: 经过一年多的学习生活，学生们对英语学习有一定的兴趣，并具备一定的英语知识,也具有了一定的自学能力和语言组织能力，但是在灵活应用上还有欠缺；这一年龄阶段的孩子好胜心强，集体荣誉感也强，因此在设计上应采用任务型教学从听说入手，设计游戏，激发学生学习兴趣；所设计的内容面向全体学生，由易到难，让学生在愉快的氛围中从不同程度得到提升。从而达到培养学生综合运用语言能力的目的，激发学生对英语学习的兴趣，增强自信心。

Teaching aims: 1、能听、说、读、写单词young, old, beautiful, thin and clever,并能将其正确、熟练的运用于句型和对话中。

2、能听懂、会读、会说本单元核心语言Is he/she...? Yes, she/he is .No, he/she isn’t.并能在真实的情境中运用。

3、体会学习英语的乐趣，并能积极与同学合作完成学习任务。

Key points: 掌握并会正确使用Is he/she...?句式，并能做出相应回答。

Difficult points: 用本单元词汇和句子对他人进行简单介绍。

Teaching steps: Step1 Warming up 1、Greetings 2、Let’s chant. Step2.Presentation and practice 1、Look at the screen, show David’s family photo, introduce David’s family. 2、T:(大屏幕出示祖父母照片)Look, My grandparents are old. Teach old.(read it one by one/boys/girls).In the same methods show the words: young, beautiful, thin, clever. 3、Practice the words one by one or boys or girls together and so on. 4、T:If you are David, can you describe David’s family photo?(找两名同学分别描述) 5、Let’s play a guessing game.(巩固所学单词) 6、Listen and match. 7、Choose two students to come to the front.（一高一矮）

After the class, most of the students can grasp the dialogue .They can read fluently and they can also use the key words and sentences to make a dialogue. They are happy to study English. All in all, on one hand, this is a comparatively successful class. On the other hand, I still have some unsatisfactory elements in my teaching. I think it will be better for me to improve the teaching procedure for future use.
