Unit4 I have a new friend. 教材分析: 本单元主要介绍及询问他人的情况,了解和运用询问他人基本情况的表达形式,能听懂、认读、并能够在日常交际中运用核心语言Is he/she...?Yes, he /she is. No, he/she isn’t.能听、说、读、写并能在情境中运用young、old、beautiful、thin、clever. 学情分析: 经过一年多的学习生活,学生们对英语学习有一定的兴趣,并具备一定的英语知识,也具有了一定的自学能力和语言组织能力,但是在灵活应用上还有欠缺;这一年龄阶段的孩子好胜心强,集体荣誉感也强,因此在设计上应采用任务型教学从听说入手,设计游戏,激发学生学习兴趣;所设计的内容面向全体学生,由易到难,让学生在愉快的氛围中从不同程度得到提升。从而达到培养学生综合运用语言能力的目的,激发学生对英语学习的兴趣,增强自信心。

Teaching aims: 1、能听、说、读、写单词young, old, beautiful, thin and clever,并能将其正确、熟练的运用于句型和对话中。

2、能听懂、会读、会说本单元核心语言Is he/she...? Yes, she/he is .No, he/she isn’t.并能在真实的情境中运用。

3、体会学习英语的乐趣,并能积极与同学合作完成学习任务。

Key points: 掌握并会正确使用Is he/she...?句式,并能做出相应回答。

Difficult points: 用本单元词汇和句子对他人进行简单介绍。

Teaching aids: 英语教学ppt 课件

Teaching steps: Step1 Warming up 1、Greetings 2、Let’s chant. Step2.Presentation and practice 1、Look at the screen, show David’s family photo, introduce David’s family. 2、T:(大屏幕出示祖父母照片)Look, My grandparents are old. Teach old.(read it one by one/boys/girls).In the same methods show the words: young, beautiful, thin, clever. 3、Practice the words one by one or boys or girls together and so on. 4、T:If you are David, can you describe David’s family photo?(找两名同学分别描述) 5、Let’s play a guessing game.(巩固所学单词) 6、Listen and match. 7、Choose two students to come to the front.(一高一矮)

T: Is she tall? S: Yes, she is. (指高个女同学) T: Is she tall? S: NO,she isn’t.(指矮个女同学)

8、Judge which one is right. (对句型操练,让学生选择答案)

9、(创设情境) 1)T:I have a new friend, She is a girl. She’s tall and beautiful. Do you want to know her? Before listening to tape, I have two questions for you .

Q1:What’s my new friend’s name?

After the class, most of the students can grasp the dialogue .They can read fluently and they can also use the key words and sentences to make a dialogue. They are happy to study English. All in all, on one hand, this is a comparatively successful class. On the other hand, I still have some unsatisfactory elements in my teaching. I think it will be better for me to improve the teaching procedure for future use.
