教学设计

一、教学目标

1.

学生能够掌握本课的四个重点词汇。

2.

学生能够掌握本课的两组重点句型。

二、教学重点、教学难点

教学重点:

1. 单词:city countryside farmer crops 2. 句子:Who lives in the ...? ...lives in the .... The ...is home to ....

教学难点:

对文中对话的应用以及延伸。

三、教学方法

1.图片展示:使学生能够直观的感受单词的内涵。

2.小组讨论:使学生都能够参与到课堂中,发表自己的见解。

四、教具准备

PPT, 磁条,图片

五、教学过程

(一)Warming up 1.Sing a song. 2.Ask and answer: T:Where can you find the country road? S:I can find the country road in the countryside. 教学意图:根据提问,让学生快速进入上课的状态后导入新内容。

(二)New class 1.Show two pictures to teach the new words./ (学生根据听力内同判断两幅图片的内容)

T:I have two pictures, which one is countryside? S: No.1 is countryside. No.2 is city T: (Teach two new words.) 教学意图:通过提示,引导学生回答,提高学生的表达能力,并且能够让学生中分理解两个词的含义。

2. Listen and match (播放课文录音,从而完成练习题)

T:Let’s listen to the tapes, please tell me who works in the city, who works in the countryside? S: Farmers works in the countryside. S: Teachers, workers and doctors work in the city.

T: About teachers, workers and doctors, they work in the city, they also work in the countryside. T:Where do they work? S: Teachers work in the school. Workers work in the factory. Doctors work in the hospital.

T: The city is home to teachers, workers and doctors. The countryside is home to farmers. How about us? Where do we live? S: We live in the city. T: Yes, we all live in the city. 教学意图:通过再次的听力练习,让学生逐步熟悉掌握课文内容,完成练习的过程也就是掌握课文的过程。

3.Listen and say T: Different people has different jobs, they work in the different places. T: Let’s listen to the tape and answer the question: What do farmers do in the countryside?

S:Farmers grow crops in the countryside. T: What are crops? (Show some pictures to explain the words) T: They are crops. T: What else that farmers can do? S: They feed animals. 教学意图:通过再次的听力,学生对文章已经很熟悉了,并且能够快速找出问题的答案,给下一环节做好铺垫

Read the passage T: Let’s read the passage together. 教学意图:齐读课文,掌握基础的对话及句型。

Let’s talk T: We know farmers grow crops in the countryside.Can you tell me what can you do in the countryside \ city?

T: Four in a group and talk about it. S: I can ...in the city \ countryside. 教学意图:本环节是对课文的延伸,通过小组讨论的方式,在课文的基础上引导学生表达自己的想法,自己在城市和乡村分别可以干什么。

6.Extension 1)Show students a video about these two places. T: Do you like these pictures? Do you like living in the city or countryside? Why?

S: I like living in the ..., because I can .... T: You all like city or countryside. But I have another pictures. The air is not clean. What can you do for the city and countryside? S: I can .... 教学意图:在整堂课学习的基础上,让学生能够更多的用英语表达自己的意愿,

提高学生的表达能力。

Writing T: You have already said your favorite places to live. Now let’s write down the passage. You can use my sentences. I like living in the .... The ... is home to .... I can ... in the .... 教学意图:在表达的基础上练习写的能力,这对学生的英语思维是一个很好的练习与提升。

8. Show some students passages. (三)Homework 1. 教学意图:巩固本课的学习内容。
