一、教学目标

1、知识目标:(1) 词汇方面:学生能够在实物或图片的提示下正确认读3个食物类词汇:potatoes, tomatoes, carrot;1个餐具类词汇:spoon;4个食物制作步骤相关词汇:peel, cut,, pieces, another

(2)句型方面:学生能够运用first, then, after that, later, finally等词说出食物制作的先后顺序,如:The first step, wash and peel the potatoes.

(3)写作方面:会写email

2、能力目标

(1)整个课堂以制作vegetable soup为线索,将各版块知识布置有机串联,呈现给学生完整的课堂,有助于学生语言的整体感知与学习。

(2)通过创设vegetable soup制作情境,完成对话、拓展等活动,在应用中学习与提高语言能力。

(3)课堂面向全体学生,分层设计学习任务,帮助各程度学生各取所需,均有所收获。

3、情感目标

(1)渗透热爱劳动的思想意识。(2)培养学生动手能力及合作意识。

(3).帮助学生拓展知识的运用,结合实际,亲身体验劳动带来的快乐。

二、教学重点,难点。

1.重点:学生能够正确认读3个食物类词汇:potatoes, tomatoes, carrot;1个餐具类词汇:spoon;4个食物制作步骤相关词汇:peel, cut,, pieces, another。

2. 难点:能根据所学知识进行拓展,正确运用表示顺序的词first, then, after that, later, finally来详实地描述活动的过程并写email

三、教学准备

1. 多媒体课件,图片,单词卡片

2. 蔬菜食物,学生活动用纸,课堂评价表。

四、教学过程

Before-reading

Step 1 Warm- up

1.Free talk.

T: I like vegetable for lunch, what do you like?

Ss:I like apples/meat/tofu…与学生自由交谈(话题为各种食物等等)

(设计意图:通过和学生交谈,复习与短文中有关的单词和短语,为阅读做好铺垫。)

2.Play a piece of music :Food and drink

(设计意图:让学生在愉快的音乐声中放松自己并把注意力转移到课堂上课,并进一步为阅读做好铺垫,。)

Step 2 Lead-in

Brain storming:Ask students to name the following things as much as possible: fruit, vegetables,meat and condiment

Rules: Work in group of six. Each student says one word about food or drinks one by one. No repeating. Time: 30 seconds.

(设计意图:头脑风暴,激活学生对话题的已有知识储备, 并引出课题vegetable soup。)

Step 3 Presentation

1. The first reading :(read after the tape and circle)

Listen and read after the tape, Circle the names of the food in the text: potatoes, tomatoes, carrot, sugar ,salt

板书单词然后教读单词:

potato tomato carrot

(设计意图:带动学生迅速进入学习英语的状态,帮助学生快速了解学习内容的大体意思,能够迅速找出课文中的关键信息即key words。)

2.The second reading:(read freely and answer)

Read the text by yourselves and answer the question:

What do we need to make the vegetable soup?

(1)找出答案

(2)区分单数和复数的用法:potato- three potatoes tomato- four tomatoes carrot-two carrots a spoon of-two spoons of

(设计意图:让学生自读课文,初步了解课文内容思考并回答1个基础问题,能进一步帮助学生对所学内容加深记忆并为下一步合作学习打好基础。)

3.The third reading: (read silently and answer)

Read the passage silently and answer the question:

How to make the vegetable soup?

要求学生在阅读的过程中根据问题再次画出一些关键动词。学生一边回答问题,老师在黑板上呈现key words: wash----peel----cut----put----cook

(设计意图:老师引导学生带着问题去阅读,把主动权交给学生,增加了学生自主阅读的能力)

(1)用幻灯片呈现一碗汤,问What’s this?引导学生回答:It’s a bowl of soup. 又问What’s in it?接着呈现各种蔬菜,引出主题: How do you make the vegetable soup?明确本节课教学目标。

PPT播放制作vegetable soup全过程,结合学习关键词汇: peel, cut , put ,pieces, another

教师运用表示顺序的词first, then, after that, later, finally制作vegetable soup。边演示边解说(in English)

Listening,要求学生把制作vegetable soup的顺序标在书本page61的上

Pair work,学生两人一组,口头操练如何制作vegetable soup,注意顺序的词first, then, after that, later, finally的运用。

(设计意图:结合板书的关键词,操练所学内容,做到当堂学习、当堂巩固。) 4.The fourth reading: (read loudly in group and act)

四人小组活动:分别请四位同学到讲台上动作演示制作vegetable soup。要求按步骤用英语解说(如有误,其他学生纠正)。

(设计意图:在合作中学习找出本文中的知识点能够激发学生竞争意识与团队精神,让学生通过互动来加深对课文细节内容的理解,同时加强学生听说能力的训练。)

Step 4 Practice

1. Co mplete Mei’s email to her cousin

(设计意图:在语言操练足够的条件下,让学生在更为开放的模式下操练、使用所学过的内容。在任务型教学思想的指导下,让学生在正式的情境中使用自己学到的知识,进行小练笔,有助于学生独立表达自己的思想。)

2..Share in groups and help each other。

(设计意图:组内分享合作互助能够让学生更大胆的表达,提高自信心。) 3..Read your passage.

(设计意图:通过个人展示帮助学生引导学生养成良好的写作习惯,学习写作方法。)

Step 5 Extension

1.教师先示范运用所学的知识谈论自己和他人的饮食爱好,然后让学生与同桌交流自己的饮食爱好,最后全班交流讨论要养成合理营养科学健康的饮食习惯。T: Vegetable soup is good for our health. What kind of food is healthy? And do you know how to make it?

2. 思想教育:升华主题

学生能自我生成“平衡饮食”的观念,并指导今后的生活中的饮食建议。

(设计意图:创造真实性任务,引领学生探讨生活中各方面的问题,并使用丰富的语言提出综合性的建议,进行高效的语言输出,从而提升语言技能。)

Step 6 Summary

1.总结制作vegetable soup的材料

Now we know, When we make the vegetable soup, we need three potatoes , four tomatoes ,two carrots , a spoon of sugar,and wo spoons of salt.

2.总结制作vegetable soup的过程

How to make the vegetable soup? First,…then.., after that…, later…., finally….. (设计意图:通过归纳总结,培养学生养成自我小结的良好学习习惯。) Step 7 Homework

1.Tell your parents how to make the vegetable soup.

2.用英语写出制作某饮料或食品的步骤。

(设计意图:引导学生养成良好的写作习惯,学习写作方法。)
