I. Students analysis(学情分析)

四年级学生已经适应了小学的英语学习生活,大多数学生学习兴趣浓厚,学习习惯良好。他们求知欲强,善于模仿,喜欢听故事、唱儿歌、做游戏、肢体表演等活动形式。通过三年多的英语学习,已经具备了基本的听说能力,能进行材料朗读与简短的对话与交流,也能进行一定的书面训练。

在学习本单元内容之前,学生接触过不少常见的景物类词汇,涉及生活与学习世界的若干方面,能运用相关形容词与核心句型(to be, to have, there be等)对事物进行客观描述,也能运用in, on, under 等方位介词或介词短语描述事物的方位。此外,学生对一般现在时态也有了初步了解与运用。

II. Unit analysis(单元分析)

(1)单元教学任务:

本单元的教学主题是“Look at the shadow”(看影子)。通过本单元的学习,学生能理解与运用hill, lawn, path, bench等公园内常见的景物类词汇(注意单复数);能运用一般现在时态第三人称单数的肯定形式来描述太阳照射所产生的人和事物影子的变化情况;能通过Alice’s shadow的演绎以及Henry the dog的故事阅读,进一步感受太阳、事物与影子的关系,学会观察生活中的事物,了解相关的科学道理和生活常识,从而积累一定的生活经验。此外,学习字母组合-ee, -ea ,-eer, -ear在单词中的发音,举一反三,尝试语音儿歌。

(2)单元教学目标:

知识与技能

1、能准确理解、朗读本单元的核心单词,如:hill, lawn, path, bench等,注意单复数;能准确运用动词或动词词组(rise, goes down, grow, go up, stay等)、介词(in, on, behind, in front of等)和形容词(long, short, big, small, strong)来描述一天不同时段太阳、事物与影子之间不同的位置变化以及影子的特征,初步了解光的照射原理。

2、能运用一般现在时态第三人称单数的肯定形式,如:It …(does)等来描述太阳、事物和影子的变化与位置之间的关系。

3、能运用祈使句(Please don’t bite me.)向别人表示请求或禁令要求。

4、能在故事朗读与演绎中学会观察生活的事物,进一步感受太阳、事物与影子的变化与关系。

5、能初步了解辅音字母组合-ee, -ea ,-eer, -ear在单词中的读音,有感情地朗读语音儿歌。

文化与情感

在了解更多的公园景物的基础上,尝试了解太阳照射事物的影子的长短和位置变化,感知光的照射原理;能进一步观察大千世界,感受自然的神奇,从而热爱自然、热爱生活。

学习策略

1、能在课堂活动中,注意倾听、积极思考、参与讨论、学会分享。

2、能在故事朗读与表演中,尝试运用,学会交流。

3、能充分利用学习资源,通过讨论、合作、交流等形式完成学习任务。

III. Period design

第三课时教学设计

教学目标:

1、初步学习与朗读字母组合-ee, -ea ,-eer, -ear在单词中的发音,学会举一反三。

2、在较为熟练地学习与运用hill, lawn, path, bench等公园景物类词汇的基础上,能在情境中较为熟练地运用It...(does)来描述事物影子在一天中的变化,进一步感受其特点与规律。

3、能在语境中感知、理解与运用sometimes, when等词汇;能运用Sometimes the sun shines ... My shadow ... (does). When the sun/light is.... My shadow ... (does). 来描述光与影子的变化关系。

4、在说一说、演一演中进一步感受人物一天的影子长短、位置、大小的变化,初步了解光与影子的关系,感知影子的科学道理。

第四课时教学设计

教学目标:

1、能较为熟练地朗读字母组合-ee, -ea ,-eer, -ear在单词中的发音,尝试语音儿歌。

2、在较为熟练地运用本单元的核心词汇与核心句型的基础上,能在故事语境中感知、理解与运用walk down, hear a sound, look back, bite, follow, be like等;能理解、朗读与运用Please don’t bite me.等日常用语,学会向别人表示禁令或请求。

3、尝试在语境中,通过图景与语段理解故事内容,体会小狗Henry从happy 到afraid 再到happy的情感变化,有感情地朗读故事,体验角色。

4、通过小狗Henry的故事学习,进一步感受太阳、事物与影子的密不可分,体会故事阅读所带来的乐趣。

Materials:

Henry:Hi,guys! I’m Henry, a lovely dog. I’m a little bit naughty but also shy. I like going jogging with my friends on sunny days. I feel so happy these days, because I have a new friend.

Scene 1

Henry: What a nice day! I want to play outside! Yahoo!

It’s a beautiful sunny day. The sun shine s and shine s. Henry walk s down the road. He is so happy.

Scene 2:

Henry: Hey, who’s that? It look s so strong. Is it a big black dog?

Henry hear s a sound. He look s back and see s a black shape behind him.

Scene 3:

Henry: Big dog! Big dog, go away! Please don’t bite me. Please…

Henry is afraid. He think s the big black dog may bite him.

Scene 4:

Henry: I run and run. I can run very fast. Oh, no! You run so fast like me.

Henry run s away, but the black shape still follow s him.

Scene 5:

Henry: I am so tired. I can’t run. Hey, wait! You are like me. Haha… You are my shadow. Henry stop s. He look s at the black shape. It stop s too. He is not afraid now.

Scene 6:

H enry: Let’s play together. Jump, jump, jump together! Hooray!

Henry like s his new friend. He like s playing with it.
