教材解析:

本课是人民教育出版社《新起点英语》三年级上册第二单元My Body的第一课时,是一节新授课。本课主要学习身体词汇和功能句型,为后几课学习提供了语言支持。本课书分为两个部分:

A项为听的活动,本部分利用妖怪奇异的长相引出要学习的身体各部位名称,学生借助已知颜色、特征形容词及图片的提示用线连接相对应的大小图片。

B项为说的活动, 学生通过活动复习身体部位名称,初步练习简单自己的身体。

学情分析:

本节课的学习对象是三年级学生,学生们通过两年的英语学习已经具备了一定的听说读写能力,并有了初步的语言积累,他们渴望有机会表达和展示自我。这一阶段学生的英语学习主要任务是。就本课而言,一年级第二单元第一课时,学习了身体部位词汇:arm, ear, eye, mouth, nose, hand, foot, leg等, 以及学会介绍身体的句型:I have one / two______. 所以,在热身环节,通过歌曲和猜的游戏帮助学生复习与身体有关词汇和句型。在教学中,我努力做到从学生已有生活经验入手,通过创设真实的语言活动,从而更好地让学生感知语言, 通过各种活动学会并运用语言,促进学生综合语言能力的提高。

教学目标:

1. 能够在本单元情景下,听懂并说出与身体有关的单词:head, finger, neck, feet, body, monster .

2. 在活动中,能够用简单的语言介绍自己的身体。如:I have two big eyes.

3.能够在课堂上积极发言,乐于与别人交流。

教学重点:

1.能够认读身体部位名称。

2.能够正确运用形容词和数量词介绍自己的身体。

教学难点:

1.理解short有短的、矮的的含义。

2. 单词 neck, finger的发音。

3.正确运用形容词和数量词介绍自己的身体,注意身体复数名称的发音。

教学准备:

电脑、Monster拼图、

教学过程:

Step1: 热身环节

(1) Sing a song 《I have two eyes》

[导入语] Hello, boys and girls. It’s time for class. Let’s sing a song.

歌曲内容:I have two eyes.I have two ears.One little

nose, One little mouth.

Put them together, Put them together.One little face, One little face.

(2) Guessing game T--SS

[导入语] Now, let’s play a guessing game.

Look, I have a big big mouth. What am I?

Look, I have a small small face. What am I?

Look, I have a long long nose. What am I?

Look, I have a short short tail. What am I?

S1: A tiger / a monkey / An elephant / a dog

(3) Do the action and read the words: big small short long

T: Now please follow me to do some actions. Big, small, long, short

T: Look, I have some cards. Who can read?

SS: long, small, big ,short

T: Look, I have long arms. Hi, Tom. Do you have long arms?

S1: I have short arms.

T: Bob is short. Mrs. Shan is tall. What’s meaning of short?

(4)Just now these cute animals describe themselves and

this is the first time to have a class with you。Let’s describe ourselves,OK?

Step 2: 新授环节

Talk about the main picture

[导入语] Today I bring a new friend to you. Look, he is coming. Wow, he is a monster. 出示单词并带读monster 。之后引导学生对monster进行描述。[导入语]Just now these cute animals describe themselves。And the new friend ”Monster“wants to describe himself like us ,too. Do you want to help him?

Step 3: 巩固环节

1.Game:(1) I say ,Ss point.

(2) I say, Ss remember.

(3) One, two ,three PONG!

(4) Read all the words.

2.chant with the music.

Step 4: Part B

Listen and fill in the blanks

[导入语] Do you know who the monster is? Ha, the

monster is Bill. Let’s listen what Bill say.

B项录音内容: Ha! Ha! I am Bill.I’m not a monster.Look! I have 2 eyes, 1 nose, 2 ears, and 1 head.

Step 5: Talk about our bodies

T: Hello, I am Franny. I am not a monster. Look, I have long hair. I have a big head. I have a short neck. I have two small eyes. I have a small nose and mouth. I have two long arms and legs. I have two big feet. Who can talk about your body just like me?

(2)talk in pairs

Step 7: 小结及作业

用简单的句子向父母和朋友介绍自己的身体特征。
