Read a story

1) Learn the words and phrases:

tortoise, quiet—loud, unhappy, have a bath, have a nap, fly away 2) Using modeled sentences to describe things：

e. g: The pond is quiet again. 3) Using the simple present tense to describe a person’s like or dislike.. e g: I don’t like your songs. 4) Using yes/no questions to elicit a positive to negative response. e g: Does the old tortoise like the little bird? Yes, he does. /No, he doesn’t.. 2.

Emotional aim (情感目标)：

To find the happiness in the daily life. Know sharing happiness with others, you will get more happiness. 3．Main points(教学重点) 1) Using modelled sentences to give specific information.

2) Retell the story. 4.Difficult points （教学难点）

Act out the story or make a new story to act it out.

二、学生情况分析:

这篇故事图文并茂，很容易被学生理解和掌握，同时这又是一篇学生们比较

喜欢的谚语故事。由于本班学生较好动，乐于表演的情况，在教学过程中我在基于课本的基础上适当进行对话的补充，并对故事情境加以创编，在再现真实的生活场景中进行角色表演。

通过让学生对故事进行开放式的提问，从而检查学生的预习情况，及时把握和调整教学节奏。

重点抓住关键词汇，nice，quiet。引导学生加以想象乌龟居住的环境。

由局部图片让学生猜一猜谁来了，引出新词，活跃学生的思维，也激起他们的兴趣。

采用不同的方式来操练词组have a bath，并拓展一些词汇满足尖子生的需要。

让学生带着疑问进行听读并讨论，不仅训练了学生的听力，也是合作学习的策略之一。

展示故事结局，通过听听问问来理解并学习单词。

再次回到课伊始的那些问题，检验不同水平学生的掌握情况。加深对课文的理解。

帮助乌龟找回快乐的教学环节也为下面的创编和续写故事做好铺垫。
