I. Teaching Project: 1.

再构故事文本(主体文本)

The city of Hamelin is full of rats, big black rats. They run up and down the street. They eat food they can find. The people of Hamelin are all scared. They want to chase the rats away.

Here comes a man with a pipe in his hand. He can help the people of Hamelin. And he wants a bag of gold in return(作为回报). The man plays magic music. It sounds beautiful. All the rats hear the music. They follow the man and walk away from the city. There are no rats any more. People are all happy. Now they don’t want to give the piper his gold, because they think the rats can never be back.

The piper is very angry. He plays magic music again. It sounds great. This time, only the children can hear the music. They follow the man and walk away from the city. Now there are no happy children in the city. People are all regretful(后悔的).

Dialogue 1: People: Who are you? Piper: I’m a piper. I can help you. Give me a bag of gold in return. People: A bag of gold? No! You may have more bags of gold, if you can chase the rats away.
