Unit2 Months 一、单元知识简介

本单元是新课型，主要学习六个月份的名词和两个表示前、后的介词，以及询问假期和节日所在的月份和前后顺序。

二、学情分析

学生初次接触月份的表达，特别是January和

February两个单词比较长，学习难以掌握，需要多加操练。

三、教学目标

1.语言知识目标

学会四会单词：January, February, March, April, May, June, before, after；

和四会句子：When’s winter holiday? It’s in January or February. Is January after February? No, January is before February. 2.语言技能目标

通过说、唱歌谣、做游戏、表演、比赛等多个环节，使学生在合作、自学、表演、竞争等多方面的能力得到发展和提高。

3.情感态度目标

培养学生浓厚的英语学习兴趣，挖掘学生的表演才能和实际应用语言的能力，给学生一个自我展现的舞台。

四、教学重点与难点

1.教学重点

本单元重点学会8个四会单词、两组句型和学习对话，通过对句型的学习，理解对话的意义，并能表现出本课的重点。

2.教学难点

通过单词和句型的学习，能用所学句型创出新的情景对话是本课的难点。另外，January和

February的发音和拼写也是难点之一。

五、教法学法

根据本单元的教学内容，可采用活动教学法、情景教学法、视听教学法、组织教学活动。学生通过合作、学习、表演等方式，轻松掌握本课知识。

金太阳软件、图片、卡片等。

一、课时目标

通过学习，让学生熟练掌握8个单词和两个新句型。

二、课时重点和难点

本节课重点学习8个四会单词和两组新句型，难点是掌握月份的顺序，还有January和

February的发音和拼写。

三、课前准备

金太阳课件、图片、卡、年历等。

四、教学过程

Step 1 Warming-up T: Hello, boys and girls. Ss: Hello, Mrs. Wu. T: It’s so hot today. Ss: Yes. T: Do you remember the song of “Hot! Hot! So hot!”? Ss: Yes, we do. T: Ok! Let’s sing with actions. Stand up, please ! ( play the song of “Hot! Hot! So hot!” and sing together.) Step 2 Revision T: You all did a good job. Sit down, please. What’s the weather like today? S1: It’s hot today. S2: It’s sunny today. T: Yes. It’s sunny in fall. Step 3 Presentation 1.

Teach the new words: January, February, March, April, May, June. T: As we know, there are four seasons in a year. And there are 12 months in a year. Right? Ss: Yes.

T: Today, we’re going to learn part of them. (show the picture card of January.) T: Read after me. January. Ss: January. (相同方法教

Teach the two new words: before, after. And the new sentences: Is January after February? No, January is before February. (show a calendar in front of the students.)

T: January is before February. February is after January. Understand? Ss: Yes. (Learn the words “before” and “after”.) T: Can you say more sentences using before and after? S5: March is after February. S6: May is before June. T: Very good. Is January after February? S7: No, January is before February. T: Is May before June? S8: Yes, it is. T: Good. Let’s listen to the tape and read after it. (Listen and repeat for Vocabulary and Target.) Step 4 Practice 1. Pair work T: Let’s make similar sentences like Target. Practice with your partners and I’ll choose some pairs to act out your dialogues.
