Greetings.

T: Hello, boys and girls. [Ss: Hi, Miss Huang.]

T: How are you?

[Ss: I’m fine, thanks.]

T: What’s your name?

[S1:My name is

…/I’m ….] T: Nice to meet you. [S2: Nice to meet you,too.]

T: I’m glad to see you. Let’s know about some new friends. OK? [Ss: OK.]

3. Show the pictures of some poor children.

T: Please look at the pictures. There are some poor children. They have no food. They are always hungry. They are eager to the food. Now we’re going to have a lunch plan. Team A and Team B , Let’s collect more food to help them.

T: Let’s ask them“what do you like? OK?”

Show a picture of

Li Ying.

T: Let’s ask her “What do you like?”

[Ss: What do you like?]

(T plays the tape about Li Ying’s answer: I like cake.)

Chant.

T: Cake,

cake , c-a-k-e ,cake, I like cake.[Ss: Cake, cake , c-a-k-e ,cake, I like cake.]

Continue with the other words as the same way. [Team A and Team B will have a competition. The better team can get one of the food. At last, they’ll give the food to some poor children and to be a charity ambassador(爱心大使).]

Step Two: Drill the key sentences.

7. Chant.(Chanting and doing the actions.) What do you like? What do you like?

Cake, cake, I like cake.

Chant and meeting a bomb. What do you like? What do you like?

Practice the chant with your partner , then have three/four pairs of partners to perform the chant. (The better team can get one of the food.)

Play a guessing game. “What do you like?”

Show a picture of some poor children one by one. Then have S1 guess the answer. [S1 must say “Bingo”. Next, have S1 write the word on the blackboard.]

Sing a song: What do you like?

Step Three: Make a conclusion and homework. 1.
