教材分析：本课是新版湘少版六年级下册Unit 4 Planting trees is good for us.中的第一课时对话课，主要学习关于植树对人类的好处。本课核心句型是“Trees can…”教材通过Peter, Anne和Mingming讨论植树的情景，让学生感知上述句型的语义及语用情景，并在真实语境中运用句型。

学情分析：经过将近四年的英语学习，六年级学生具备了一定的英语基本知识和技能，已经基本掌握了老师的课堂用语和指令，有一定的观察能力和创新思维能力并勇于表现自己，同时也具备了一定的英语知识基础和学习习惯。从语言知识的积累上看，学生在六年级上册已经学过相关短语：keep the air clean and fresh, plant more trees, 同时在六年级下册Unit 3学习了we should句型的运用，这对学生在本课中开展学习交流做了很好的铺垫。在学习植树的好处语境中通过视频的播放培养学生爱护树木，保护环境的情感意识。

设计理念

Teaching procedures: Step 1 Warming up 1.
