Unit 3 My day (Period one ) Ⅰ. Teaching content: Story time Ⅱ. Teaching aims: 1. Enable the students to understand the whole story,and talk about their days. 2. Teaching procedures Step1. Greetings and warming up 1.Greetings. T:Good morning,class. Are you happy? OK,I’m happy too.

2.Fishing game. T:Now, let’s play a fishing game.There are two big fish and some small fish here. Look at the first small fish “It’s Tuesday.” So which big fish can eat it, “What time is it?” or “What day is it?” Yes,good. “What day is it?” Next one, “It’s Friday.” Which one? Good. How about “Four o’clock.”…Well done.

Step2. Pre- reading. 1.Learn some phrases and sentences. T: Look at the clock. What time is it? Yes, it’s seven o’clock. Good, here’s a tip. Are you clear? OK, how about this one? What time is it?

T:Great. It’s seven thirty. Here’s a tip too. OK,so what time is it? Yes, it’s seven forty. It’s time for school. Read after me, go to school. We can say “go to school at seven forty”,right?
