学生能够听说读写4个关于职业的单词：factory worker, postman, businessman, police officer 2.

能够运用有关询问某人职业的英文表达What does he/she do? He/she is a…进行问答。

学生能够尊重从事不同职业的人，懂得职业不分贵贱。

教学过程

Step 1 Warm up 1 Free talk T: Good morning , boys and girls.

S: Good morning , Miss Chen.

T: How are you?

S: I am fine./ Fine/ very well, thanks.

... 2.Enjoy a video Q: How many jobs are there in the video? 看视频回答视频中所出现的职业有哪几种引出今天所学的内容。

3.Do jobs puzzles We have learned the words about jobs. There are some puzzles in the PPT. Ss have to work them out. 做有关职业的拼图复习所学过的有关职业的单词。

Step 2 Lead in

There is a Career Day. Ss have to learn how to work by following Penny, Billy, Peter and Fiona who have got the credit of Star of jobs in December. 情境设置。在职业体验日时，学生跟随Penny等四人去体验他们所从事的职业。

Step 3 Presentation

Teach the new words, “businessman, police officer, factory worker, postman”.

Some pictures about working places are shown on the PPT. Ss listen to the tape and find out where does they work? Then, according to the dialogues Ss guess who are they and chose the right picture. At last, T teaches the pronunciations and meanings of these words. These new words can be read by single, group or by the whole class. 通过听力，图片来教学本节课的四会单词。

Step 4 Practice

1.Turntable game. The whole class ask: What does he/ she do?

2.Listen, match and say. Step 5 Make a survey

Use the new word and expression to make a dialogue.

. 用本节课所学的句型来采访同伴的父母的职业。

Step 6 Summary

Step 7 Homework
