Unit Four At the farm Words in unit 4 学习目标: 1、Unit 4单词集中学，为预习课文打基础。

2、能够认读、理解8个“三会”单词和5个“两会”单词。

3、了解单词是由字母构成的。

学习策略

1、根据字母和字母组合的发音拼读单词。

2、借助已学的单词，学习新单词。

3、做到音不离词，词不离句。

4、采取多种形式，巩固单词。

教学步骤：

Step1 Warm up 播放视频“Old Macdonald Had A Farm”，导入课题At the farm. Step 2 学习单词horse, cow, sheep, hen 1.由car和art引出farm，引导学生自己拼读farm；擦除图片蒙层，显示农场。同时，让学生了解farmer。

2.显示hen图片，让学生拼读hen。与单词pen, ten对比学习。

3. 擦除图片蒙层，显示horse, cow, sheep, goat图片，同时学习相应的单词。Ask and answer: What’s this? It’s ....继续擦除图片蒙层，显示多个horse, cow, sheep, goat，引出these和those,以及horse, cow, sheep, goat的复数形式。Ask and answer: What are these/those? They’re.....(注意区分house与horse的发音区别) Step 3 Practice 出示一农场的图片，Ask and answer:

What can you see? /How many hens/horses/..are there at the farm? Step 4学习单词tomato, potato, carrot, green beans 用拼读的方法学习单词，同时提醒学生注意tomato与potato单词的结构

“_o_ a_o”。Ask：Do you love to eat ....? 使学生理解yum和yuck的意思。

Step 5 Let’s chant 使用chant,巩固单词tomato, potato, carrot, green beans。

Step 6 Games 1.趣味分类

2.分组竞争

Step 7 Draw and say 让学生画自己理想中的农场，并说一说。

（上课时间如果不足，就布置课后完成，下节课展示介绍自己的农场）

Step 8 Listen and repeat 让学生看白板或书上71面U4的单词表，听一听，说一说。

Step 9 Homework 1. Read the words in unit 4. 2. Preview（预习） the dialogues of unit 4.
