由于我校学生英语基础普遍较差，为方便教学开展，我在课堂中未采用全英文授课，也未设置过多的课堂活动，这是不足之处，也是因材施教。

因为本堂课是单元的Story time，所以我先对本单元的重点知识进行了简单的回顾，然后引出本课内容。在教学中，我注意挖掘场景信息，并进行旁白补充。细察图片信息，丰富故事内容，搭建故事文本的信息支架。将主动权教给学生，让学生梳理故事脉络，提炼和利用文本信息。其次注意挖掘故事文本的文化意识，Story time中涉及的外国文化知识与学生的学习和生活密切相关，能激发学生的兴趣和发散学生思维，让学生初步感受中外文化差异，形成一定的文化意识。

总体而言本堂课达到了我的教学目标，即让学生理解故事内容，了解不同国家交通规则的差异。
