一、教材分析
《Tomorrow》是沪教小学英语五年级下册第五单元第二课时的内容。本单元主要学习的是be going to 句型在一般将来时中的运用,学生通过语法的学习,能够对未来发生的事情进行计划,知道将计划付诸以行动的重要性。本课是本单元的第二课时,学生通过对小故事的学习,通过故事的阅读及反馈练习的完成,进一步理解一般将来时的用法,并懂得“今日事,今日毕”的道理。
二、学情分析
本节课的教学对象是五年级的学生。学了两年多的英语,初步养成了一定的听说读写能力,有对英语学习的兴趣和愿望。在以前的学习中已经掌握了很多的英语短语和be going to在一般将来时中的用法。本节课主要是利用故事情境,巩固一般将来时用法,学生通过自主学习和小组合作学习,培养综合语言运用能力。
三、教学目标
1.知识与技能:
学会tomorrow,build等单词,知道Don’t wait until tomorrow含义及用法;能够在图片、教学课件的帮助下听懂、理解故事。
2.过程与方法:
运用整体故事教学的方法,通过教师的提问,布置的任务,表演故事能
培养学生综合语言运用能力。
3.情感态度价值观:
通过故事学习,让学生懂得“今日事,今日毕”的道理。
四、教学重难点
句型I’m going to…在真实语境中的应用。

课件,单词卡片,学生课前预习故事
六、教学过程
1.Greeting
T:Hello,boys and girls.
Ss:Hi,Miss Gao.
T:How are you today?
Ss:I’m fine,thank you.
T:Today I’ll introduce two friends for you.They are Little Monkey and Little Rabbit.
2.Sing a song
Next,let’s sing a song together.
3.Review
T:Look,there is a calendar.Can you tell me what day is it today? Ss:It’s Thursday.
T:Then what day is it tomorrow?
(tomorrow means the next day)
Ss:Tomorrow is Friday.
T:What are you going to do tomorrow?
Let’s pracise this sentence,OK?
Ss:OK.
4.New lesson
T:Do you know what is Little Monkey going to do tomorrow.Today let’s enjoy a story.
T:Look,there is a picture.What can you see in the picture? Ss:I can see some trees/some grass/a river…
T:Where is it?
Ss:It’s a forest.
T:How’s the weather in the forest?
Ss:It’s sunny.
T:Look ,what happened?
Ss:It’s raining.
T:Why is Little Monkey still in the rain?
Task1:Watch a short video and answer some questions.
课件出示3个问题,选出正确答案。
Teaching the sentence “I’m going to build a house tomorrow.”(教师教授短语build a house)
T:1.Does Little Monkey build his house on the next day? 2.What does he think? Let’s go on.
学生自己读句子,回答问题。
Task2:Watch and complete the dialogue.
Task3:Look and guess.
Can you guess what does Little Monkey do on the fourth and the fifth day?
学生小组内说一说。
Task4:Watch and complete the sentence.
播放一段视频,讲授单词cry-cries,until.
提出问题:What does Little Rabbit say to Little Monkey?
学习句子:Don’t wait until tomorrow.

T:What do you learn from the story?
Ss:Don’t wait until tomorrow.(今日事今日毕)
T:You did a good job today.In this class ,We know : If you take time tomorrow,tomorrow will be tomorrow. If you take time today,tomorrow will be OK.
If you want to do something,Don’t wait until tomorrow. Do it now.

1.Read the story.
