Step 1 Greetings&song 1.

Free talk: What clothes do you know?

Step 2 Presentation 1.

T(Present a magician hat): Look at me!

Learn “Look at me!”

T: Am I great? Ss: Great! Ask Ss to be a little “magician” and drill “Look at me!” while others praise him/her. Chant: Look at, look at. Look at me!

Great! Great! Great! 2.

A magic show The “girl” on the screen is a “magician”. “a hat”→

“a cap”

Learn “a cap”. T present a real cap: Look at my cap! Can you praise me? Ss:... Ask some Ss to “wear” the cap and drill “Look at my cap!”

Chant: Cap, cap. Look at my cap!

Great! Great! It’s great! “a cap”→

“a skirt”

Learn “a skirt” with “bird”. T present a real skirt: Look at my skirt! Is it nice? Ss:Yes. Chant: Skirt, _____. Look at my _____!

Nice! _____! It’s _____! T: Can you think more words pronunced as “ir”? Ss:... Teach “a T-shirt”. Ask Ss who wear T-shirt to drill “Look at my T-shirt!”

Step3 Consolidation (Yang Ling’s Magic Show) T: Whose T-shirt is it? (present Yang Ling) “Yang Ling”: Look at my T-shirt! T prompts Ss to prise Yang Ling. “Yang Ling” changes her clothes and T asks Ss to be “Yang Ling and others to praise “Yang Ling”.

Step4 Story time

T does some gestures and Ss guess. Teach “sing” (板书)(with gestures)→read by T→read by “little train”
