一、教材分析

本模块是《新标准英语》第八册的第四模块第二单元，主题是

“Ongoing Events”。Unit 2中出现的重点句型有：The apples are falling down the stairs.相关的词汇有：stairs和mess. 本课时为新知识的呈现。

二、学情分析

本课的学习对象是六年级学生，他们具有一定的英语知识储备，理解运用能力，具备一定的自主学习的能力，但学生程度差别大，一部分学生由于基础较差，心理上紧张，信心不足，学习英语的兴趣不是很浓。所以在课上，应最大限度的调动每一位学生的积极性，兼顾到不同层次的学生。大部分学生能积极参与到英语活动中，与其他同学团结协作，相互交流，共同完成学习任务。

三、整体设计指导依据

1.《新课程标准》指出要注重培养学生的学习英语的兴趣，兴趣是最好的老师。本节课中我运用图片、语言激励、丰富的肢体语言等多种方法，激发学生学习英语的兴趣，营造愉悦的学习氛围，努力使学生融入到英语课堂中。

2.面向全体学生，关注全体学生的发展。本课中我主要开展pair work、group work、class performance，让每位学生都体验到英语学习

的成功，培养了学生的团体合作精神。另外本节课我能指导学生将课堂所学知识延伸到课外。

3.《新课程标准》中指出英语学习要和实际生活相联系。本节课的活动设计是在于讲述正在发生的事情；向他人寻求帮助;根据客观情况说明自己能否向他人提供帮助。能用“Who can help me？”来寻求别人的帮助。

四、教学目标分析

1. 知识目标：掌握单词stairs, mess以及句子：The apples are falling down the stairs. Who can help？ 2. 技能目标：能运用现在进行时态描述正在发生的事情，能使用can谈论能力和向他人提供帮助。

3. 情感目标：培养学生关心他人、助人为乐的品质。

五、教学重点、难点分析

1. 教学重点: Who can help me? I can’t carry them all.

Sorry, I can’t. Yes, I can help you. 2. 教学难点: 单词stairs, mess的听、说、读、写。

九、教学过程

Step1. Warming-up 1.Play a game: I like you, you like me. 2. 创设一个求助的情景：抱很多作业本走进教室，结果书掉了一地。T：Who can help me?

S: I can. 在部分学生帮助老师的过程中，教师就正在发生的情景询问其余的学生。T：What are they doing? 用课件引出活动一，并跟读、朗读。

Step 2. Leading-in 1.向学生展示PPT图片，苹果从桌子上掉下来。引出课文题目，

The apples are falling down the stairs. (理解fall down) 2.向学生展示第二张图片：A lady is crying. What’s happening. Step 3. Presentation 1. Listen to the tape of Activity 2. T：What’s happening to the cola? And the eggs? Ss: ..... T: Yes, the apples are falling down the stairs. The cola is falling. And the eggs are broken. What a mess! (教读mess）

2. Act out the dialogue . Step 4. Practice

1. Show the pictures of Activity 3 on PPT. 2. Play the tape，ask the students to listen and match: Who can help the girl?

3. Work in pairs: Point to the pictures and say.

For example:

A: Can he help? B: Yes, he can. He will pick up the apples. 4、Play the game: 趣味组合

学生分为三组，第一组的学生写出一个句子的主语和相应的be动词。第二组的学生写正在进行中的行为（动词或动词短语的ing形式）。第三组的学生写一个包括介词的地点或场所。比一比哪组三个同学的句子最有趣，评出“最佳组合奖”
