Have you ever been to Sydney,Australia? It is the state capital of NewSouth Wales, and is a wonderful, moderncity with a population of more than fourmillion people. Sydney was established in1788 as the first British colony inAustralia.

If you go to Sydney, you can visit thefamous UNESCO World Heritage Site –the Sydney Opera House, and maybewatch a performance there. The SydneyOpera House was opened in 1973, and isnow one of the busiest performing arts centers in the world.

You should also pay a visit to Bondi Beach. Many people say it is Australia’s most famous beach. There are many things you can do at

Bondi Beach, including learning to surf or scuba dive. Have you ever seen a shark feeding up close? If you visit the Sydney Aquarium, you can go on the glass-bottom boat ride and see a shark feeding in perfect safety!
