教学目标：

一．知识目标：

1.

能够听、说、认读单词monkey, monster, 能巩固dog, cat, bird, kite等单词。

2.

学会使用Is it a …？来猜测事物，并能听懂会答

Yes, it is. /No, it isn’t。

3.

能掌握一般疑问句的升调。

二．能力目标

1. 能理解课文内容，对所学内容能主动地练习和表演。

2. 能用Is it a...? Yes, it is. /No, it isn’t.

三．情感目标

1. 让学生了解英语中的求救语“Help！”，养成良好的安全意识，并乐于运用所学知识与他人交流。

2. 在小组合作学习中培养学生分工合作意识。

3. 在学习和交际中鼓励学生勤于思考，敢于乐于提问。

4. 学完这个故事后让学生理解To see is to believe。

四．重点难点

1. 能听懂、会说、认读单词monkey, monster, kite，并能够在实际情境中运用。

2. 能听、说、认读句子

“Is it a dog? Yes, it is. No, it isn’t.”,要求学生模仿正确，语调自然，并能仿说替换。

3. 了解英语中的求救用语“Help！”，强化安全意识。

4. 学生能根据自己的理解表演这个故事。

TPR, The Audio-visual Method, The Audio-lingual Method, The Direct Method

六．教具

电脑，PPT，自做单词卡片，动物卡片，头饰，小狗玩具。

七．教学过程

Step 1 : Warming-up 1. Greetings.

2. An English song :Yes, No, Please!

Step 2: Presentation 1.

Touch and guess:

What’s in the bag? Is it a pen? Is it a dog? Yes.(老师拿出玩具狗。)

Show the title.

Open the books. Point and read the title.(板书，贴上标题。) 3.

Listen and guess: 出示小狗叫声

Ask: Is it a dog?

Teach: Yes, it is. 通过小组和老师师生问答的方式学习。（同样的方式用cat ,bird继续巩固句型）

Look and guess: 出示遮住的monkey的图片让学生问

Ask：Is it a dog?

让学生表演monkey学习这个单词，并且教句型：No，

it isn't.

5.

戴着monster的头饰：

Ask: Is it a dog/cat/monster，教monster. 6.

把头饰戴在不同的学生头上，让学生演monster，并且引导学生说：

Wow! A monster! Help!(学生，老师扮演monster，让学生做出help求救的反应) 7.

讲解当你遇到坏人或者其他危险的时候应该大声说help. Step 3: Have a break.

播放轻音乐让学生休息。

Step 4 : Learn the story 1.

Teacher出示门的图片勾起学生好奇心，打开门呈现park的图片，让学生猜测Who is in the park?（观看视频回答问题）

Read the story and answer: What did they see?

A. A monster.

B. A kite. 3.

Read the story and find “Is it a.....?”（引导学生梳理课文内容并张贴板书）

Point and read the story. 5.

分发头饰，分角色read the story. 6.

Groupwork

Ask the students to act the story in groups. 7.

Show the story

Ask some groups to show their performance. 8.

Let’s chant

Monkey? Monkey? Is it a monkey? No! No !No!

No, it isn't. Monster?Monster? Is it a monster? No! No !No!

No, it isn't. Kite? Kite? Is it a kite? Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes, it is.

It's a monster kite. 1)

The teacher says the chant first , and then ask the student to repeat after the teacher. 2)

Play the music. Ss say the chant together. 9.

Name the story:

1）Ask students to name the story. 2）Share their ideas in class. 3）Teacher gives the name of the story: The Monster kite 10.

Give a motto：To see is to believe. Step 5：Summary

根据小组加分情况总结表扬。

Step 6: Homework

选择一项完成：1. Tell “A monster kite”for your family. 2.

Act the story for your family.
