1.教学背景分析

教学内容分析：

Section C位于八年级下册Unit7 Food Festival Topic 1 We're preparing for a food festival中的第三节。本节容量大，因为它既是前两节内容的递进，又要掌握“打邀请电话”和写“邀请函”这两个目标语言。为了能够顺利完成教学任务，再教学中本着整合教材的精神，我把本课的内容顺序进行调整，使之成为一个整体。

4.教学过程设计

Step 1：Introduction （图片导入）（3 min）

Show several pictures of food with a title I like baking to lead in.Then ask Ss to stand up if they like making food and review the expression of acceptance and refusal. 设计意图：该部分的目的在于引入这节课的主题。食物图片导入，让学生参与互动，调动学生的参与。既激发英语的学习知识回顾，并在这个语境下学习新单词，为下文活动的开展做好铺垫。

Step 2：Presentation （展学新知）

(20 min) Task 1: Pre-reading:

Make a prediction!(预测）

T：I know( that ) in some poor areas, there are poorly-built schools with no roofs or walls. Ss: He is so sad that he decided to help them. Ss: I think I can raise money for the poor children. .... T：Now, I’ll divide this passage into four parts.They are P1-P4.Next,read the passage individually to finish Fast reading: Match the main idea with each paragraph.(What/Who/Why/ How) 设计意图：复习前两节课有关Craig的信息，对that引导的宾语从句进行巩固。同时引导学生开口，调动所学知识说出怎么帮助别人的表达。通过让学生找出每个段落大意，教授阅读的略读技巧。

设计意图：通过寻读技巧，锻炼学生获取细节类信息的阅读技巧。在过程中的小组讨论获取分数，符合新课标要求的锻炼合作能力，奉献精神。

Task 3: Post-reading

设计意图：通过小组讨论，了解一封邀请姚明的邀请函的基本要素。培养学生合作进行，同时对课文进行巩固。

Step 3：Discussion （小组研学）

An invitation plan

设计意图：锻炼学生在小组内讨论为什么要帮助同年纪的孩子，培养合作精神与正确的价值观。

Step 4：Practice （练习巩固）

Finish the practice on the learning paper to consolidate their understanding of an invitation.

设计意图：通过完成导学案上的邀请函，来检验学生本节课所学，让学生自己表达对他人的同情。增加师生互动。

Step 5: Assessment (课堂评估) The teacher summarize the key points with the students. The group which gets the most points is the winner. 设计意图：通过课堂总结，学生自行检测本课所学。

Step 6: Homework

(1) Finish the invitation card and give it to the person you want to invite. (2) Finish the project book.
