Know the importance of traffic rules.

Make up sentences with “if”. Teaching procedures: Step 1 Review Review “bike” and “bicycle”. (Picture 2) Then, review “accident”, and know about “bicycle accident”. (Picture 3) STEP 2 Leading

Enjoy a video. Answer the question: Should Peppa ride too fast? (Picture 5) Write on the blackboard: We should never ride too fast. STEP 3 Teaching

Teach the new word “helmet”. And answer the question: Do you think it necessary for a bike rider to wear a helmet? (Picture 6) Write on the blackboard :We should wear bicycle helmets when riding. Step 4 Presentation Watch the video of 1a and complete 1b. Ask four students to answer the questions in 1b. Then write on the blackboard:

We should have lights on the bike or wear light-colored clothes while riding at night. We should learn more traffic rules.

After that, teach “light-colored”. (Picture 8) Ask two students to answer the two questions and teach “careless”. (Picture 9) Do an exercise about suffix and antonym. (Picture 10) Step 5 Consolidation Look at 2a. Discuss the results of breaking the traffic rules with if . (Picture 11)
