Unit1 The sun is shining. 一、教学目标：

1、会读、写单词（短语）:shine ，cry，everyone，just，fly away 2、会读、理解句子：

The sun is shining. The birds are singing in the trees. We’re looking at some ducks. 3、会运用现在进行时态描述图片或照片中的情景。

4、能体会到学习英语的乐趣。

二、教学过程：

Step 1：Warm-up

T: Look, there is a big sun in the picture. The sun is shining. Today we’ll learn Module3 Unit1 The sun is shining. (板书课题) Step 2：Learn the new words and the key sentences.

1. Ask the students to learn the new words by themselves. a. Try to read by themselves. b. Listen to the tape and read after the tape. c.Let the students remember the new words in groups. 2. Review the key sentences. T: look, what am I doing? （教师做动作，让学生猜。）

Ss: You are playing football. / You are swimming. / You are running. T:（教师出示课件并依次提问）What is（are）

he/she /they doing? Ss: He is playing basketball/She is watching TV/ They are playing games…

（复习动词的-ing形式，复习现在进行时。）

T: Now, let’s say a chant .Say and do actions. Play,play,playing.I am playing. Fly,fly,flying.He’s flying a kite. Shine,shine,shining .It’s shining. Cry,cry,crying.They are crying . T:You’ve done a good job.

Step3：Learn the text.

1.Listen to the tape.

T:Look, this is Lingling’s letter, Do you know who gave the letter to Lingling?(教师出示课件。)

Ss: Daming.

T: Yes, on Saturday, Simon, Simon’s mum and Daming went to the park and had a picnic. But some ducks ate their picnic.

It’s very funny, so Daming wrote a letter to Lingling. Now listen to the tape, what did Daming say? （播放录音,让学生划出不理解的单词、短语。）

2. Ask the students to read the letter correctly and skillfully.

3.Learn the sentences about the photos

T: These are Daming’s photos. What’s in the photos?

Ss: the sun, the birds, the ducks, the trees…

T: Listen carefully then identify which picture are you listening? (让学生听音辨图，感知图片并训练听力。)

T：The sun is…

S1: The sun is shining.

S2: The birds are singing in the trees…

（板书句子，教学生词shine—shining.）

使用同样方法，学习另外两张照片。

Step4：Finish a task

1.Look at the picture，match the sentences using the following information. (通过连线、朗读，复习所学图片的句子。)

2. Summary the key sentences in pairs. (Make sentences using “is / am / are / +v--ing”)

3. Recite the new words and the key sentences correctly and skillfully in 5 minutes. Step5：Homework
