Step 1 Greeting &Review T: Hello, Shall we begin our class? S: Yes. T: Let’s play a game---“Train,train,go,go,go”.

Review the words about family, clothes, colors T: Thomas is coming back.He carries a lot of new friends .Do you want to say something to them? S:Hi!Nice to meet you. T: Explain “Nice to meet you!”

【设计意图：通过游戏的导入让学生很快进入英语学习的状态，再通过游戏环节的深入介绍Nice to meet you. 这个知识点会显得自然，同时，为下文的单词的学习也做好铺垫。】

1. Learn new words T: These visitors bring some presents for us. Let’s look. T: Yes, they bring some food. Look, what’s this? It’s a pie. (呈现馅饼图) S: (跟读pie) T: Pie, pie, a nice pie. (示意学生跟读) T: Look at this cake. (呈现蛋糕图)It’s great. What about this one? It’s big. It’s a big cake.

Cake, cake, a big cake. (示意学生跟读) (用同样的方式教授单词sweet,a hot dog, an ice cream) 【设计意图：通过游客带食物的方式来进行单词教学，可以降低单词教学的枯燥性，提高学生学习的兴趣。】

2. T:Yang Ling sees so much nice food .She says “Let’s have a picnic.”

【设计意图：通过文本中人物的话语来揭示文本的主题场景，进而自然而然地开始文本的学习。】

2. Listen and choose T: Now let’s listen. What food do they offer Helen?(播放课文录音) S: Cake and pie. T: What would Helen like? S: Cake. T: How do they offer Helen?(Read and find) (讲解what about 的意思) 【设计意图：从听说读三个方面来帮助学生整体感知课文，在猜测的基础上围绕文本进行对话，并重复强调重点以及解决文本的难点。】
