教学内容:Gogo开心版五年级英语下册Unit6 Good Habits

学情分析:五(6)班的孩子整体水平不是很高,但是学习本节课之前,学生已经学习了Unit5,学生已经掌握了句型:How often do you…? I often…以及频率副词的表达,而本节课是在该句型的基础上进行三单形式的转变。

整体设计思路

1、本课是基于Gogo开心学英语五年级下册Unit6 Good Habits教材内容改编而成。

本课的教学目的是:

a)让生了解Gogo的生活习惯,并分辨出Gogo的good habits是什么,他的bad habits是什么,并让学生知道,在日常生活当中我们要养成好习惯、自己的事情自己做这种意识。

b) 通过学习本故事,让学生最终能够用本节课的目标语言去了解和交流其他人的生活习惯:How often does he/she…? He/ She…

2、改编说明:

a)为了加强该故事的连贯性、紧密性,不会让读者觉得两幅图片之间缺乏语境的逻辑性,在第一幅图之后加入教师改编的2个对话:

Do you know Gogo’s habits? Of, course, I do.

Does he often pack his schoolbag? Yes, he does.

b)为了让学生明白Gogo的好习惯是什么,在第二幅图后加入语句:It’s a good habit.

c)为了让过渡自然,教师在第三幅图前加入语句:I know Gogo likes eating. 第三幅图后加入语句:Oh. That’s too much. I eat only three times a day.

故事文本(教材上的):

Ben: Tony, are you Gogo’s friend?

Tony: Yes.

Ben: How often does he pack his schoolbag?

Tony: He packs his schoolbag every day.

Ben: How often does he eat?

Tony: He eats about six or seven times a day.

Ben: How often does he wash his face?

Tony: He doesn’t wash his face. Sometimes my mom washes for him.

Ben: Now I understand.

Tony: What?

Tony: Oh, Gogo!

改编后文本(基于教材的故事改编)

Ben: Tony, are you Gogo’s friend?

Tony: Yes.

Ben: Do you know Gogo’s habits?

Tony: Of course, I do.

Ben: Does he often pack his schoolbag?

Tony: Yes, he does.

Ben: How often does he pack his schoolbag?

Tony: He packs his schoolbag every day.

Ben: It’s a good habit.

Ben: I know Gogo likes eating. How often does he eat?

Tony: He eats about six or seven times a day.

Ben: That’s too much. I eat only three times a day.

Ben: How often does he wash his face?

Tony: He doesn’t wash his face. Sometimes my mom washes for him.

教学目标

1、通过故事的学习,让学生明白该故事的大意,并能够用本节课的目标语言How often does he/ she…? He/ She…去了解和交流其他人的生活习惯。

2、通过该故事的学习,让学生了解Gogo的好习惯、坏习惯,并引导学生要养成好习惯,改掉坏习惯,让学生明白养成好习惯的重要性。

3、通过故事的学习,学生能够对故事进行复述和改编。

教学过程

一、Pre-story

1.Greetings.

2.Sing a song.( Brush your teeth )

3.T: How often do you brush your teeth?

S: I brush my teeth…

T: Is it a good habit or bad habit?

S: Good / Bad habit.

T: How often do you pack your schoolbag?

S: I pack my schoolbag…(同上)

T:I have some pictures for you. Please tell me is it a good habit or bad habit?

T: Look. Ben and Tony are talking. What are they talking about? Let’s listen and answer.

二、While-story

1.Watch the video and answer the questions:

What are they talking about?

2.Watch the video and answer the questions:

How often does Gogo pack his schoolbag?

How often does Gogo eat?

How often does he wash his face?

3.Learn the story picture by picture.

Open question: What do you think of Gogo?
