教材分析：

询问别人喜欢某物的原因以及说明某物的原因。

设计理念：

小学英语教学目的主要是培养学生的听说能力，辅以读写能力，培养对英语学习的兴趣，使学生树立自信心。在教学中，本节课设计了不同形式的活动来激发学生的学习热情和积极性，可以说“寓趣于教”。

教学目标：

1、学习新单词why、because、study、dining room、

2、用Why do you like?来询问别人喜欢某物的原因。并用Because…说明自己喜欢某物的原因。

教学重、难点：

一、重点：词汇：why、because、study、dining room

句型：Why do you like? Because…

二、难点：用多种句式和丰富的词汇表达喜好及原因。

课时安排：总共2课时，本节课是第1课时

教学准备：多媒体课件，卡片，录音机

教学过程：

StepⅠ、Warm up 1、Greetings 2、Listen and enjoy . 播放录音，让学生欣赏韵诗，然后让学生跟录音朗读。

3、呈现不同房间的图片，让学生复习以前学过的房间单词。

StepⅡ、Presentation 个性修改（手写）

Review the words: living room bedroom kitchen bathroom T:What’s in your room? 1、Learn and drill ordinal “study”和“dining S:There’s a room”。

跟据书房的图片学习单词“study” 然后用同样的方式带领学生学习单词“dining room”。

StepⅢ、Learn “Listen and say”

1、Listen and point (1)What are they talking about? (They’re talking about their new home.) (2)Are they happy with their new home? (Yes ,they’re happy with their new home.) 2、Listen and repeat, then answer the kitchen,a living room,a bathroom,and two bedrooms. T: Do you like…? S:Yes./No.

T:Look.This is a study.Is there a study in your home? S:No,there isn’t./Yes,there’s a studuy in my home. T:What can you do in the study? S: I can read the

questions. (1)Which room does Sally like? (She likes the living room.) (2)Which room does Sally’s father like? (He likes the study.) (3)What do Peter and Paul like? (They like the garden.) 3、再次播放录音，两人一组讨论以下问题。

S1:Why does Sally like the living room? books/do my homework/play computer games in the study.

Listen again and talk about the queations.

S2: Because it’s so big. Why does Sally’s

Dad like the study?

S1: Because it’s quiet.Why do Peter and Paul like the garden? S2: Beause they can play in the garden all day. 4、学生四人一组，扮演Brown 一家，操练对话，巩固运用核心句型。

StepⅢ、Homework Read the text P8 “Listen and say”。

Role-play the dialogue.

Write down the words:study,dining room.
