Step 1: Warm up 1.
Let students sing a song named “Bingo”
together. 2.
Ask and answer Q: What animals did you see in the flash?(By asking this question, I can help students recall the animals in this song as well as lead into this new lesson.) Step 2: New Lesson 1.
Show students the picture of dog and lead students to read. 2.
Do the action of “dogs eat bones” and ask “What do dog like to eat?”. (Here I want to add a new word “bone” so that students can expand their vocabulary.) 3.
Let students guess a riddle. Who has a long neck? 4.
Show students the picture of “giraffe” and lead them to read this word. 补充修改

Let students be more familiar with the words by playing loud voice and low voice game. 6.
Show students the pictures of “giraffe” and “dog” at the same time and ask “Who is short/tall?”(Here I will lead into the key sentences in this lesson.) 7.
Work in pairs. (I will let students work in pairs to practice the sentences.) Step 3: Exercise 1.
Finish the exercises of Part 3 on Page 59. 2.
Let students practice “Talk about it” and show students a picture on PPT to help them consolidate. 3.

Generally speaking, I think I have finished the teaching 教学反思
content of this lesson. Students can read the words and sentences
fluently.
Followings are my specific reflections of this lesson. First of all, my teaching procedure is relatively smooth, and the arrangement of time is proper. Classroom discipline is good.
What’s more, my teaching steps are clear. The transition of different steps and activities is natural. My students can follow my train of thought and the arrangement well. Meanwhile, I have found some shortcomings from this lesson. Firstly, the form of the game is unitary. I should use more forms of games to make our class more active. Secondly, my tone should be more varied so that I can make our class livelier and draw my students’ attention better.
Through this lesson, I have learned a lot. I am going to study the teaching materials further so that I can know the teaching focus more clearly. At the same time, I’m ready to know more about my students. Then I can design classes more aimed at my students.
