Step 1: Warming up

Sing a song: Apple song

Step 2: Revision: Look and answer T: Before our new lesson. Let’s do some revision. Look and answer.

Review some of fruits.

Step 3: Presentation T: Look, apples, bananas, pears, watermelons. They are all about fruits. Today we will going to learn something about vegetables.

T: Let’s read the title.

T: Wow, the juice is very yum! Is it apple juice? Is it orange juice?

Which vegetable can make that juice? T: How many carrots do you see?

由于它的数量超过1，所以我们要用复数表示。

OK! Look at this picture. How many carrots do you see？

所以这个属于单数。

The whole class let’s spell the new word.

T: 所以这个单词的单数形式是：carrot, 而复数形式是：carrots。

Now Let’s read the new word group by group.

T: Carrots, carrots, they are carrots.

Use a guessing game to teach the new words. And then read and spell them.

T: Please take out your English book. Open your books page 39, follow the computer and read. Now let’s read together.
