【教学过程】

Step1:Warming up

1. Sing a song: My clothes

2. What can you see in the song?

3. Is this a skirt? Oh, it’s a dress. The topic: Unit6 Whose dress is this?

[设计意图]歌曲导入,可以活跃课堂氛围,,复习学生之前学过的衣服类单词。

Step2:Pre-reading

1. Play a game: Quick respond.

2. Ask and answer:

Whose...is this/are these? It’s/They’re...

[设计意图]通过游戏,既活跃旧知,又调动学生参与学习的热情。

Step3:While-reading

1.Look and find: Who will go to the party?

2.Watch and choose: What clothes are they talking about?

3.Read and choose: Read the dialogue on page38and choose the answers. Why?

4.Read and complete: Read the dialogue on page 39. Try to describe.

5.Listen and imitate

Happy reading: Ask Ss to read together, read in roles or act the dialogue out。

Step4:Post-reading

1. Invite Ss to the parties

2. Ask Ss to talk about their dressings at the fancy dress parties.
