1.sing a song

2.Play a game :show some pictures and voice,let’s students answer what animal is it. Step 2. Presentation

1.Set a situation:Tony,Jenny and Gogo are going to a zoo.They see many animals at the zoo.

2.show a picture and learn:a panda,the sentence: Is this a panda? Yes,it is.

3.listen the voice of tiger,and learn the new word: a tiger

4.continue with the same way with the rest words: a monkey, a lion, a rabbit. Step 3. Practice 1.Play riddles

Teacher use sentences to describe one kind of animal,students say what animal it is. 2.Guessing game

Teacher draw a picture of animal and let students use the sentence pattern:Is this a ....? to guess. 3.Group work

4 students a group,guess the animal with the group members. Step 4 .Extension 1.Introduce more animals to students 2.At the zoo,we can’t throw the rubbish everywhere,we can’t feed the animals.Let students know to be a polite person. Step 5. Homework 1. Read the words five times. 2. Draw a dog/tiger/cat/… …,and practice the target with your partner.
