一、

教学背景

教材分析：本节课选自八年级下Unit5 Topic3 Section C。在前两个话题中学习了有关情绪和感受的形容词以及表达自己情绪的句型，本话题谈论影响我们情绪态度的事物。功能是：表达自己的情绪态度和给出恰当的建议。语法是：简单句的六种基本句型，但不是本节阅读课的重点。重点是学生了解了影响我们情绪态度的事物后，引导学生遇到事情，如何正确调节自己的不良情绪，保持积极乐观的心态，做情绪的主人。

学情分析：学生已经学习过本单元的情绪形容词，加之初二年级学生有了一定的语言学习积累，具备相应的语言表达能力。因此，教师在教授过程中会弱化对单词、短语、语法机械繁琐的讲解，着重于在创设的情境中，让学生理解事物对情绪的影响，通过学习讨论，找到保持良好情绪的方法。

教学目标

语言能力目标：通过本节课的学习，学生能够：

（1）记忆、理解并运用“ lonely, shy, worried, nervous, relaxed, sad”等词和

“...can affect my feelings.When...I feel/...make(s) me + 形容词”句型来描述情绪；

（2）掌握阅读的技巧：predict根据图片猜测文章内容；通过skimming快速阅读文章，得知文段的主题句；通过scanning细读课文，找出具体信息；

通过讨论并运用“what affects us?---how we feel? ---what to do with ?”逻辑线索自如表达情绪和调控情绪。

学习能力目标：通过本节课的学习，学生能够：

（1）通过小组合作，培养竞争意识和团队精神；

（2）运用自上而下和自下而上相结合的阅读策略理解文本意义；

通过further reading，完成不同任务，培养基于文本并深入文本的快速阅读和深入阅读能力。

思维品质目标：通过本节课的学习，学生能够：

（1）通过创设情境，赏析诗歌，补充文本材料等方式，激活思维的广度和深度；

通过质疑文章某些观点，养成思辨方法。

文化品格目标：通过本节课的学习，学生能够：

（1）了解情感与外界事物的联系，提升感悟并懂得保持健康情绪的重要性。

教学重难点

教学重点：1.学生能够准确掌握文章话题句式，...can affect your feelings. When..., I feel... . 2.学生能表述自己的情绪并懂得如何调节不良情绪，保持乐观心态。

教学难点：1.对文本质疑，并进一步提出观点；

2.在教师搭建的有效合理的教学梯度帮助下，学生能模仿what affects us-how it affects-what to do with it 句式进行口头作文；

四、教学过程

Stage1 Get students ready for learning Step1 Greet between students and teacher. Step2 Introduce the rules of this class. 介绍本课的奖励机制，激励学生积极完成学习任务。

Stage2 Pre-reading Step1 Share a poem which was written by myself with students. 预设听力问题，欣赏诗歌。

Q1: How many feelings are mentioned in this poem? What are they? I often feel upset when I am busy, I often feel angry when something bad happens, especially you broke the rules, I often feel sad when I have trouble in working, my eyes filled with tears. Step2 Deal with new words and phrases. 将诗歌中设计到的本课新单词，新短语进行教授，同时进行适度扩展。如trouble--have trouble in doing sth./ fill--be filled with. Step3 预设情境，将我的诗歌发表到QQ空间，有几个朋友给我一些回复，分享他们的心情故事，引入新课。
